All of these were deftly drawn with sharp characterizations and vivid language. I got a real sense of loss in Wes'. You captured Gunn's voice, and his worked beautifully, too. I tried to pick out favorite lines and images, but each line worked so well in conjunction with the rest of the piece, I would have had to just copy all of them.
