Honestly, I don't think there was a "men don't do this" sort of mindset with him. I think he had a hard time talking because he was choked up, but he's being interviewed, and if he started crying for real, I got the sense that he wouldn't be able to stop. He went on to talk about how his training involved leaving all emotion behind, because you can't be emotional when you box. He said to Oprah, "no fear, no anger, no hate," essentially. And you could tell she was surprised by that - when someone looks the way he does and hits the way he does (jeez, I don't know how many fights you've seen, but NO ONE has ever hit like Tyson) you imagine all of that rage pent up. Nope, he just did his job. His rage was after.

It's just fascinating. And very very sad. (I don't know if you caught him talking about being bullied - my god, so shocking.)
