Which is fine, but I use fanfiction as a writing exercise, so I like to hear the concrit as well as the OMG!!11! and in many cases, more so.

Okay, that's ~~totally true~~ not true, but a lot of people who have followed this multi-part fic didn't come back for this bit, and I'm curious as to the why.

The drastic drop in comments is puzzling, but consider that there were three separate times today that I thought my friendslist had frozen (does this ever happen to you, where you need to close your browser and reopen it in order to see new posts?), but it just turned out that no one had posted or commented in existing posts. Yeah, on the flavors. i have very specific things I'm looking for in a fic, the sexual aspect of it is waaaaay down on the list. But, um, it's on the list. :-D

I'd say half of my flist is squicked by RPS. And yet, they don't defriend... *whew*

This last bit has tension, of a sort, but mainly I'm trying out some various things with how I tell a tale. Not a lot of dialogue, and I think there is a large faction of people who PREFER dialogue. And not a lot of anything else. Which is fine, but...

"Wait, let me"
"Now, who is this?"
"I haave no idea who I am that is talking at this point."

Wears me down. Of course, I've seen short bits structured like that that can work... But not often.

The writing is NOT off. I've noticed that sometimes if there is no sex...there's not much fb. Silly sluts. And it KILL me, 'cause some of the best stuff I've written doesn't always have sex...and if it has UST, they're begging me. I LOVE plotty, thinky stories that happen to have very hot sex. When it's necessary to the plot. I tried to write a PWP once (Road Trip Revalations, B/G) and it ended up having plot. ::rolls eyes at self::

Oh, the thing that KILLS me is when people end EVERY chapter with a cliffhanger and UST so as to garner fb. i don't play that game. Which is probably why I'm one of the red-headed step-children of the various fandoms I play in, but eh.
