No, no, I *know* that about you. Slash is a not usual thing, too, correct? No, I just mean... I had a lot of hits/fb on the last chapter, and this next part was very... specific. (No boysex. Maybe that's it? Harumph.) So, I'm wondering if folks just don't get the exposition, you know? DOn't care for it?

Which is fine, but I use fanfiction as a writing exercise, so I like to hear the concrit as well as the OMG!!11! and in many cases, more so.

But I will drink whiskey (and I meant to comment on the 17 year old! You are just an admirer of art, 'sall.)

I occasionally read some slash, but it's not my preferred flavor of fanfic. And RPS--just squicky to me. I do like exposition in fanfic, though.

Yeah, on the flavors. i have very specific things I'm looking for in a fic, the sexual aspect of it is waaaaay down on the list. But, um, it's on the list. :-D

I'd say half of my flist is squicked by RPS. And yet, they don't defriend... *whew*

This last bit has tension, of a sort, but mainly I'm trying out some various things with how I tell a tale. Not a lot of dialogue, and I think there is a large faction of people who PREFER dialogue. And not a lot of anything else. Which is fine, but...
"I'm talking"
"And now I'm saying something."
"Now it's my turn"
"Nope, me."
"Wait, let me"
"Now, who is this?"
"I haave no idea who I am that is talking at this point."

Wears me down. Of course, I've seen short bits structured like that that can work... But not often.
