I had to say no to asking every night, because hubby and I commute together and I drive, so I know when he'll be home - whenever I get him there!

I MADE IT SAFE AND SOUND. I've currently parked my butt at an internet cafe before heading back to the hotel for a shower and a quick nap before braving the streets of downtown Atlanta at night. I'm thinking I might either (a) die or (b) pick up a hooker.

AHH's schedule is super-irregular so I ask him pretty much every day so I have an idea of how to plan my day/evening. And also so I know when to expect him because I'm a little crazy? PERHAPS. Also, sometimes I talk to him multiple times through email if we're exchanging links while he's in class and sometimes I don't talk to him at all so I picked multiple choice and you can't stop me! Mua ha ha!

Well, some days he may get off at 4. Some days he may need to stay late and it's 7 or 8 before he leaves. Aaaaaaaaaand, that's when he remembers to tell me.

But now that he's home this summer, I'm trying to encourage more family time (obviously) and the kids like having dad at dinner, you know?

(Mostly, he's just used to being on his own all week with hotel service and restaurants and maids and he needs to remember he's a part of a family, imo.)

But yeah - if he could normalize his time, so I wouldn't have such a fluctuation, I probably would say just what you said.

Heee, in terms of "speak to X times daily" I think you mean on the phone when the s.o. is not there, but I was having a funny moment imagining couples who say, "Good morning," to each other gravely, and then NOTHING the rest of the day. Once is all you get!

Oh, you know what is crazy about my HP incest view right now?

I don't really want to read Weasleycest.

I know when he's coming home from work, because it's usually the same time, or if it's going to be early he often phones to tell me so, and he never goes out in the evenings.
But personally, when I go out in the evenings, I find it intensely irritating to be asked what time I'll be back - it feels like I have to say a time earlier than I'll actually be home.
I refuse to carry a mobile phone, too, because I feel that would be used to guilt-trip me into coming home early! Also, I feel like a dork being spoken to on a mobile.
But then, we eat fairly randomly, and rarely have plans that involve timing anything very much.

Oh, Ginny/Brothers makes me cry. I'm not all for the Weasleycest either, unless like you, Fred-n-George. But it's SO RARE. Blackcest is the popular 'cest I've seen. (I'm a big fan of gen with the Weasleys.)
