1. Chapter Four of "And It Came To Pass" is up.
2. Gas is down to 3.30 in my neighborhood. How crappy that I'm ecstatic over that. I remember gad being 80 cents a gallon. Back when they was no 'lectricity and ya had to walk uphill in the snow both ways.
3. This is my LAST FRIDAY of summer (with chirrens) and I am a happy, happy woman.
4. I am almost all caught up on all the Olympic coverage I've been recording and I totally have a girl crush on LoLo Jones, the USA hurdler. Oh, honey, come sit in my lap and let me make it aaaaaaall better. Good lord, she's gorgeous. I like my women pretty and cut. Rawr.
5. it's FRIDAY, whooooooooo! I already hit the gym, worked my BUTT off (Figuratively, I'm sad to say) and have nothing but good times looking my way. *leap heel click*

Oh man, my heart broke for her. She had worked so hard to get there, and for this to happen at the Olympics...it just had to be devastating. I was crying as I was watching. Brutal.

Oh, the whole track & field team has broken my heart this year. So many entry-level mistakes from outstanding athletes!! *clutches heart*

Man, I was sad for her before. After reading that link, I'm sadder than I thought possible. What a bummer.

I bet she'll get over it with no problem and come out wiser for the experience, though. She seems tough and smart enough to overcome like that.

Lolo is lovely no doubt. My heart broke for her, especially when after her interview NBC tackily showed her sobbing alone under the stadium. The whole track team has had a rough though.

The whole track team has been BREAKING MMY HEART. I mean, I'm glad for Jamaica, it's been an awesome display of the human body, but USA. Oh, the wasted, screwed up talent!!

Yeah Jamaica has been amazing and I'm happy for them, but just the little mistakes that have killed us, make me so had. I mean to work so hard and get that far, I just hurt for them. I'm not even a huge track fan they way I am swimming but I still feel for them.

I turned too them showing Lolo got me so pissed off. I mean she gave them an interview let her have her private moment. I thought it was sneaky and sleazy. I seriously considered writing them about it, it was just so low.

I am trying really hard to get to 2012 though, my aunt got to go this year with her work. I am real jealous.

$3.30? Damn!! We peaked at $4.39, held for quite awhile, and are now down to $3.79. I'd give my left testicle for $3.30, as every .50 drop saves me $10 per tank, or roughly $25 a month.

And today we're down to 3.22!! I'm enjoying this trend. Keep in mind I'm in Texas where the oil, the oil refineries and Exxon headquarters are. It's typically cheaper here than elsewhere.

We never quite broke 4 bucks, came to 3.99 and then barrels started dropping.

It's a huge difference in my wallet, too, carting these kids all over? I'm looking forward to it getting BELOW 3 bucks. Let's hope...
