It was SO good. (And nothing spicy like that time I tried killing you with a stuffed poblano pepper, lol.) Hot, but manageable.
There are some GREAT recipes over there. I love her main page, ThePioneerWoman.com She gives you step by step instructions on how she makes EVERYTHING with pictures for every step! Very helpful if you're not familiar with a technique, etc. She has a cookbook coming out.
I bet you are too far north. (Unless you have a Whole Foods that's reasonably close? They'll def. carry both types.) I hereby give you permission to use tired Monterrey Jack! HEEE. (For us down here, it's on everything and I get weary of it, that's all. Hee hee.)
Oooh, OT, but you'll be interested: the full length novel from that series of short stories just came in the mail! I plan on curling up tonight after soup and such and reading some good sf. I'll keep you posted. If it's as good as the short stories, I'll be blown away. (The Windup Girl is the title.)
