Awesome about LOTR. I hope you started it by drinking a beer under two seconds and then punching the person next to you as a loving tribute.
The plague is still with me, I have named it and decided to keep it. It's much smaller though now and is hovering somewhere back in my face rather than constantly lurching out and making a dash for freedom.
Oh, I picked up Vanity Fair and it had part of RL's memoir in it, and you're right it was brain grabbable.
(You know those dvd's? Did I mention that I haven't actually seen them myself in case they are aweful? They were the only top selling NZ dvds that were available - but they've won awards and been top raters, so hopefully they wont be completely crap, and if they are, coasters!)
