I like that idea better but I can respect the author's fortitude in taking it there. I would've wussed out totally.
I think I'd have been almost happier with dark = they killed their parents and moved someplace else so no one would know they were siblings, because that would've been OTT enough to not take seriously and this was so real and possible it hurt ::sobs::
