I spent the weekend pulling Bermuda grass out of my flower beds and my fingers were so sore yesterday, that I could barely type. They're still tender today, so I'm typing with my fingers flat and splayed out like some kind of idiot. *tappa tappa tappa* Just how much Bermuda grass? You know those 25 gallon paper refuse sacks you can get at Home Depot? Three of them. THREE. That Scheiße grows DEEP. And you have to get it all, or it just comes back. *cries* Stupid 115F summer where I couldn't get out there and pull it.

ANYWAY NO ONE CARES ABOUT THAT.

*cries for your hands* I stood looking at the bermuda grass in my flower bed this morning and I tried, Laura, I tried to get the gumption to pull it. But the thing about weeding a flower bed is....you have to KEEP doing it! You don't get to do just one sweaty day of exertion and call yourself done and I don't like that, haha!

And then I read the Hunger Games and pretended not to have a flower bed. My day lillies are coming up roses, though!

May you actually have a spring this year to do your gardening in comfort!

Ooh, yardwork, how i hate you. I actually did some myself, fun fun - it's been so crazy-warm here.

Now my winter-dry hands look grubby and awful because i can't scrub all the dirt out of them. Niiiiice.
