Glee! Let me just say this: I know some of y'all hate this stuff. You hate disco, you hate sunshine and breathing and puppies and everything fun. I get it. (LOL.) But I looooooove disco. I love dancing, ergo, I love disco. I've talked about this before, but in college (Mormon school, so no shenanigans) we'd get all dressed up in costumes and go rollerskate while a disco cover band played and it was SO. DAMN. FUN.

Also, there was a sexy dance in last night's episode where a certain someone ran their hands over his body and I lost my damn mind. Jeez Louise, my husband needs to COME HOME. Too bad he can't dance. *cries*

I should dig out my pictures and scan them in. Man, I had some AMAZING disco clothes. (And my own skates!) Yay good clean fun! Hahaha.

Okay, time for yoga. Ringer's finale is soon to be posted on HDJM, so be sure to give Janey's some love! Have a great day, lovelies!

Thank you so much for that entry, I absolutely love disco too, for me it's still the best music to dance to and I love Saturday Night Fever, saw the movie countless times, saw the musical twice, once in Cologne, once on Broadway, we evenn did a Night Fever special my with musical dance class and it had been the best time ever, so thank you again for your very wise words:))!

No shame! I loved every minute of the disco, except the couple seconds when Rachel tried to make it a little too soulful-modern-pop by throwing a little vocal embellishment into my favorite ballad from the soundtrack. But I just blinked and then it was like it hadn't happened at all and I was happy again.

The falsettos! I just melted. All the Glee guys should be required to sing in falsetto in every episode from now on.

And Kurt's reactions to the suit and the shoes were priceless. And I don't usually drool over Blaine (I like him, I just don't go gaga over him) but WOW he owned that gold chain at the end. And I definitely don't go gaga over Finn, but I loved that bit of chest hair peeking out from his suit. Because apparently I'm a sicko.

So no shame. None. Never. Especially when it comes to anything and everything inspired by the Gibb brothers.

I totally agree. I LOVED THE SHOW LAST NIGHT. My 'era' isn't really an era, disco was big when I was in my mid 20's, I've always been into music (except for the STUPID boy/hair bands). Rollerskating to disco sounds like lots of fun. I was working for Ma Bell during the disco era, so I didn't get to dance much...

I lived through disco (high school years) and while I don't love it, I don't hate it either. But what I do LOVE is the BeeGees, so I always enjoyed this soundtrack. So I enjoyed most of last night's episode. I didn't love Lea's solo, it was ok. I actually loved Alex's performance of Boogie Shoes. He was great.

I just chuckled throughout the episode that they had all these guys singing falsetto, except Chris, who probably could have handled it easier. I know he was in the background, but it seemed strange. I just need a Kurt solo soon. lol

Guilty! What's funny is that the first song just gave me a high school flashback, but by the end of the episode, Manly and I were looking at each other and saying, "Now we remember why we HATED THAT ALBUM SOOOOOO MUCH."

When are they going to have a Punk episode? ::pouts:: I require a Sex Pistols/Black Flag mashup tout-suite!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

But yeah. My brain short circuited pretty much as soon as he did the sliding the hands over his hair (and the GIFs on that are pretty freakin' incredible. You should watch it backwards. No, seriously, go google that right now and watch it backwards. YUM is the only word for it.) What? There were other things going after that? Sam was in this episode? Seriously? Was Artie?

Nope, my brain saw only Blaine. Blaine Blaine Blainey Blaine. Being quietly, sexily gorgeous in the background, ANCHORING the dance for Night Fever. Inspiring an insane fit of giggles with the dipping and the singing of "More Than A Woman" to Kurt -- which, I suppose opens up a very interesting interpretation of the original lyrics...

Also, I hope it's already apparent, but I, too, love disco.(Sunshine, puppies and breathing, as well. And Blaine. And Darren. Obviously.)
