I have been playing phone tag all day with four groups of people, trying to communicate to each of them what the other is saying and this would be better if PEOPLE WOULD RETURN MY CALLS. (I really really loathe our legal system. REALLY.) My life is still crazy, but there is a huge light at the end of the tunnel, and if I can get this damn car off the tracks, blocking me, I can get TO the light. (subtext: please understand that I am not really able to be around to chat much.)

Hi. You don't have to respond to this in any way whatsoever. I just wanted to let you know that you and your family have been on my mind and in my prayers (yes, I pray) lately.

I had a parent email me about her son being bullied in my classroom. I hadn't even noticed it as it happened, and felt so horrible for not seeing it. It reminded me of just what my job actually is and how vulnerable the people under my supervision actually are. And of course, it brought to mind the terrible lack of support you've experienced.

I hope your son is getting the help and support he needs and deserves and that he's feeling better. I know it's a long row to hoe, and that sometimes you might feel like you've been too strong for too long. Just know that there are people - people you don't even really know - who are thinking about you and hoping that things are improving for you and yours.

Thinking of you, as always, my sweet. <3

And as I've mentioned before, my super power, were I able to pick one, would not to be able to turn invisible or to zap people with electricity from my fingertips but would be to make people do what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. I would happily use this power on your behalf. (I would also zap the appropriate people.)

The whole back-and-forth thing with unreturned phone calls (and emails) pretty much describes 85% of my every working day ::cries::. Sometimes we use conference calls to cut back on the problem, but of course that's not always possible - hence, the 85% number.

So. I get it. You'll get to the light, just usually later than you want to :-).

Here's hoping for that light at the end of the tunnel to arrive soon! I have been thinking of you often. Hold on. <3

I hate being the go-between, when life would be so much simpler if Person A talked to Person B directly rather than telling me what to say. Best of luck with your phone calls and I hope things continue to get better.

I'm really glad that you can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope that damn car gets out of the way, soon.

(And I left a comment over at the other place. Daryl!)

Looking forward to your recap of "Dynamic Duets." I am so over the Kitty-is-giving-Marley-bulimia storyline, and hope Mrs. Rose will see that her "strict diet" suggestion was no bueno for her stick figure of a child. I'm liking the love triangle a bit more now that Puckerman seems remorseful for being a d-bag. I miss Tina when Tina was a cool Asian goth girl.

As a teacher, I really appreciated the way the show handled the new kid's dyslexia. The reading specialist classroom actually looked like my friend's room at our school, and the testing seemed pretty accurate- I was all, "poor kid lacks phonemic awareness" when they showed him writing "prity" instead of "pretty." They even worked in the term "Individualized Education Plan." Yay writers!

I'ts up! I'm right there with you on Kitty/Marley/Eating Disorder. Do not want. Don't want Tina, either. :(

I really enjoyed that moment, too, and thought Blake did an outstanding job of selling that moment. GOOD JOB, WRITERS! A very solid episode, all things considered, I thought.
