It is so beautiful today! High of 78° expected, faint breeze, blue skies... Gonna get the rest of my poppies (poppies will be their poison! Sleep... sleep...) in the ground, gonna walk 7 miles today, gonna sketch out the Connor/Dru fic I've been thinking of... Huh? Yes. THEY BELONG TOGETHER. Oh! And I have an Illyria/Evil!Willow fic that is begging to be put down. Like a dog. Or on paper, we'll see.

Everytime I visit my BFF, I get into a fit of extreme health (one of the things I love about her) and get motivated and happy. I weighed myself after getting back from my trip (chronicled in excrutiating detail yesterday) and lost four pounds. Woot! She did that to me when we went on a cruise. I may be the only American in history to lose weight on a cruise. Ah, the vegan life. Fun to visit, but.... I like the meat. Mmmm. :-D

For those who watch Deadwood on my flist (and those that aren't, MY GOD!! You are missing out on one of the best shows, PERIOD.) am I the only one that has noticed that the assistant to George Hearst, Mr. Wolcott, is played by the same actor who played Jack McCall, the murderer of Wild Bill? Now that's some acting range.

Have a lovely day, be good to yourself, eat something leafy, stretch your limbs.... Uh... do the hokey pokey.... Read a good book....

*runs away*

[ETA] *runs back* Uh... Does anyone know what happened to [livejournal.com profile] ficbitcabear? I don't like seeing that line through her name, and she just commented in my LJ yesterday! Anyone?

Hi! It's actually, for once, a beautiful day here too! It will be around 60 here, the snow is melting, I'm thinking of buying some pansies soon... But not planting in the ground, putting in pots, because I have other plans for the ground areas.

Vegan cuisine? No thanks. Not only the meat, but also CHEESE. Cream sauces, and all the other things that you make with milk. And what about EGGS? God, could go on forever about the things I couldn't do without. I'm sorry, but I have to exploit those animals. I do buy my eggs from an organic place that keeps them cage-free, though. And organic milk. So I can feel superior. Hee! Wish I could buy my meat from [livejournal.com profile] julia_here, that would be so cool.

I was just thinking about emailing you this morning to see how you were doing after getting back from your trip -- it can be a pain to go through the mail, email, do laundry, clean house, etc. Also, I wish I could fly you here to ask you landscaping advice about my front yard. Oh well. I want to add something to go with my baby Japanese maple that we put in the oval of our semi-circular driveway.

Now I'm rambling, so I'll stop.

Oooh! Take pics, tell me which way N is, and I'll think of some things for you.

Imma be busy busy today, but the good kind. Bustling, happy, listening to music kind of busy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm ALL about the meat and animals. Num. "Oh, look at the piggies! They look so delicious!" But I was a vegan long ago, and I like to have periods of 11 grain brain, fruit, veggies and nothing else to cleanse out the poo, you catch my drift? ;-)

Email me pics!!

Like a steak-enchilada with a fried egg on top, monterey jack cheese all bubbly and browned with salsa over the whole thing? Fuck, that sounds good. But blocking...

Have a great day! (Your day sounds gooooood)

It's absolutely gorgeous over here! And I still haven't finished writing my ^%%$@$#*& essay. Gah. But I shall go to class and enjoy the sun while I walk from the bus to the Theatre.

And, okay...why is [livejournal.com profile] ficbitcabear deleated? That is no good! I also recently commented in her journal, and...was there a kerfuffle or something?

I'm just finishing up my Sunday New York Times and there is an article that you would LOVE. In fact, I had to check the author's name to make sure you didn't write it! IF you feel comfortable giving me your address, I'll send it to you. My email is sfcora at wmconnect dot com.

Well, I haven't heard of any kerfuffles, but I haven't been hanging in the Spander world much, so I'm out of the loop on a lot of stuff...

I know she stepped away for a bit, but she didn't DELETE her journal...

On a happy, its still sunny and warm and I'm going to put some tickseed and salvia in my garden fer color.

tickseed and salvia

Wow...chalk it up yo my ignorance about all things garden-related, but that does NOT sound appetizing at all... *g*

And yeah, I remember her saying she was taking a break, but to deleate her journal? Very worrying...

You ding dong.

Tickseed and salvia. Nothing grody. Blue in the back (it's taller) and yellow tickseed in the front.

What line?
*looks innocent*

Bad couple of days, with a brave face, until last night. Completely lost it.

Got bits of it back now, though...

Deadwood? I've only managed to catch a couple of episodes in total (I'm usually out when it's on) but it looked good. Though I had to laugh at Ian McShane's accent. I wonder, can you tell me if it sounds authentic to you?

Just tried to e-mail you and the mailer daemon said the recipient doesn't like you. Does that mean you really don't like me, or that the e-mail addy on your user sheet doesn't work? Had something funny to share, so if you DO still like me and don't mind hearing from me, e-mail me at spikedru@ptd.net and send me your addy, 'K?

Today was gorgeous indeed.
Poppies will help us....wait, Stoney, hugs are better than poppies!
Deadwood? I missed the first 15 minutes, but okay, whoa. And the ending? With Trixie and Doc and that guy whose name I can't remember but I love? And that other guy I love too?
Really, I don't know their names, but I LOVE THEM VERY MUCH. I really do. And them all around Al...and Al not talking for a whole episode. Al? Who even I was getting a little turned off by...I love him again now, but not sexy yet because - you know...that eye? And the, whoa, other? "Trixie, milk his cock?!?!?" Eeek. And Doc?!!!
Okay, I'm doing the Deadwood Love rambling.

I'm so very glad you had a great time on your visit!!! Woot!!!

I've caught some of the "Deadwood" series. And yes, I had thought that those two characters were the same actor. I wasn't sure until now. My favorite character is the Chinese guy who's scant command of the English language is dominated by the word cocksucker. Yes, I can be easily entertained if you haven't guessed.

Deadwood is just a great goddamn show, ya goddmaned cocksucker. (I like to channel Calamity Jane when ever possible.)

Wu!! I love Wu. San Fransisco! Cocksucker! More interest with the "Celestials" is coming up, and I can't wait. LOVE it.

Holy shit, I KNOW!! So painful to watch. And dude, I've passed TWO kidney stones. At one point I was sobbing and telling Mr. Stoney to just "fucking shoot me" and I think I had gotten one of his guns. I passed the stone shortly after.

And I've had natural childbirth. FUUUUUCK. That shot of him at the end? Pained relief? Fucking shoot me? Don't know which, but friggin' beautiful.

Quit that shit!! It's just a journal. With all of your deepest thoughts. For strangers to read. *contemplates deleting..*

:-D

I LOVE Deadwood. Can you tell? I think Ian McShane is doing a fantastic job of a "Limey" cum South Dakota. It takes a bit to get into the cadence of how they spoke back then, but he sounds reasonable to me. Maybe you didn't know that they ackowledge he grew up in England until a young boy? Then was sold into an orphanage at 6?

Don't you ever even consider deleting your journal, missy!

No, I didn't know that about Al, makes sense and I promise not to laugh at his accent now. But I find comedy accents irrestible. That's why I love the flashbacks in Buffy and Angel - DB's genu-whine Oirish accent with that wig? Hee! Joss was all about the (surely intentional) funny.

But back to Deadwood - I'm sorry that I haven't caught more of it because I love a show full of "cocksuckers". Yes, lots of nice earthy language - even from the chinese guy.
