So we get cynical and jaded and angry and bitter, because for the most part, that's what they're telling the boys, too, and everyone buys it, so insecure teenage guys (ie: all of them) go for a trophy so nobody will make fun of them for their less-than-perfect girlfriend, and promptly get bored in fifteen minutes. Girls learn that you need to be beautiful if you're going to be dateable, end of sentence. Oops. Everybody's screwed. That's totally why everybody likes Oz.
