I've had a terrific day filled with bouts of laziness and bursts of productivity, namely raising my entire herb garden up 6 inches with new fill dirt. I'll be paying for that one tomorrow.

I've had this in my head all day: Buggs Bunny meets Dracula. The words "Abracadabra" make him change to a bat, "Hocus Pocus" back to Drac. So Buggs starts singing "la da da de da da, Abracapocus" and Drac changes half way and you hear him say (in a muffled voice) "Hocus Pocus." And on and on. Hilarity.

My only other favorite BB moment is when he is being chansed by Marvin the "hairy butt shaped monster" and he stops, whips out a table and chair and starts giving him a manicure. "Mmm. I think monthterth are thutch innnnteresting people. I said I sayth Monthterth lead thutch innnnterethting lives." Hee hee!

Ooh! And I made 12 jars of pesto from my garden. Num!!

I do so love the Buggs, but Pepe le Pew is by far my favorite. "Eh, bay bee! I am ze corn beef and you are ze cabbage!" Cat: "le Gasp, le Cogh, le Pant,, le Whew!" Pepe: "Le Rrowr rrowr!"

I owe my knowledge of limberger cheese to Pepe.

(Okay. That Buggs/Dacula thing NEVER gets airplay, and I think that is one of the funniest things ever.)

Oh you seem heavily busy with the gardening . And pesto ? mmm... my favorite way of accommodating ' pasta ' !

Do you have a big garden ? I would like to see pictures of your surroundings. Pictures of you working hard , of course .. ;)

If I can ever get my act together, I'd love to get pics up. I loooove my gardens. I have antique roses that I've salvaged from around the world, ginger lilies from India, odd little pass-a-long plants from each place I've lived.

My leetle veggie/herb garden has been very productive this year. Want some zuchinni? (Gardening has become a great source of peace...)

I have a very little garden , but I'm pretty comfy when I sit lazily under my cherry-tree.

I would love to have a cherry tree, but we get too hot here in Texas. But we have peach and pecan trees, so it almost makes up for not having the blossoms and cherries in the fall.

My old neighbor had traveled throughout Europe and collected roses (example: a rose from Westminster Abbey that is over 400 years old, a rose from a friend's garden in Japan that had been there from the time of the samauri, and a beautiful rose from JFK's grave in Arlington National Cemetery. I took cuttings from them and have them in my own garden.)

When my husband and I travelled through Europe on our honeymoon I took slips from some friend's vegetable garden, and have mutliple generations down the line from those onions and herbs. I have toad lily from an old plantation home in the south here, and on and on... I am an avid gardener and went back to school to learn the ins and outs of horticulture.

A great day is when I can sit outside and do nothing but watch the wind blow lightly through the garden and watch the wildlife. Next year I get to put in my koi pond! I'll keep you posted... ;-)

all my favourite bugs bunny things have him dressed in drag or fucking with elmer fud(d). how many d's are in that? anyway, the one with the opera performance comes to mind.

pepe le pew was my favourite character though. skunks and kitties yay! i had a watch with him squeezing the hell out of one of his victims on it. i miss that watch.

I miss your watch too. Wait, huh? And the What's Opera Doc is fantastic. "Oh Bwoomhilda, your so wuvley." "Yes I know it, I can't help it." And the Barber of Seville!! I missed June Buggs on cartoon network this year. They always show the obscure ones.
