Quick notes, for I shall ACCOMPLISH THINGS TODAY. Which means I need to step away from the 'puter. (Except not, because I want to WRITE. I'll step away from the LJ.)

• Puh. For those of you following a_list_celebs, we were mocking the TomKitten birth AS IT WAS UNFOLDING, hello. Including the secret rituals of nudity and shoe shopping. ...why haven't you added that to your flist?


• I got woken up by big blue eyes, a heart-shaped face, and a big grin. Followed with a gentle arm pat and a whispered, "I want breakfast. Now." She got a few minutes of cuddling, instead.


• Read FIC yesterday! I hardly ever do that anymore. One: Tack's The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot (again - I never re-read fic!) in the PotC fandom, but IT DOESN'T MATTER. Is most excellent, possibly one of the best pieces of fanfiction I've ever read. And re-read (I never do that!) ely_jan's Xander/Angel fic of darkness, as she posted a new bit yesterday. Get thee hie and read!


• Finally, we've had two straight days of triple digit weather here. HOLY FAHK. Too hot, too soon. Thank you, Canada for sending a cold front our way. Now it's a respectable 78 for a high day, and I am most pleased.

Back to the grindstone! Have a lovely lovely day everyone!!

You're so perky. I'm so...murky. Although I did squee about you in southernbangel's LJ last night. Then it devolved into me and marenfic talking about pee and Air Supply. My online life is so...well, shockingly similar to my RL.

I'm hurty (as we discussed) but your exercises sound AWESOME. Isn't ely_jan's story fab? She's one of my top 3 A/X writers. And one of those is me! Hah. Kidding. Really

Kathy and I talked a long time last about how worries about A. I still haven't heard from her, and it's getting freaksome. Does she know she crosses my mind several times a day? (I just sang that to the "Can you read my mind" Lois Lane 'rap' from Superman.)

Goddamn, Laura! I need to get enthused! I don't even have a Tom baby joke. Can't participate. Got NOTHING. I do want to talk about VM, though. I'm having a facial tonight (whee! Maybe rampant girliness with smack my ass back into perkiness) but call after? 8-ish? Good time? Bad time? You know I've had my share.../random Zeppelin.

GET FRIGGIN' ENTHUSED! I have no idea how to help you - I'm trying... I'm beaming those happy beams your way, trying to bring you funny... What can I do? DO you just need to gird up your loins and dive in? I swear, that ALWAYS works for me. Just go chasing the happy, you know? Hmmmmmm.

Facials are of the greatness! I think. I've never had one. Eww! My face is gross, huh? I need to just buckle down and do something for myself instead of always feeling guilty about that stuff.

I am laughing my ass off at the "Lois Lane" rap. THe use of the word "RAP" is what's killing me. Off to make Cruise bone Kate! Or something. :D
