I very rarely post more than once a day.

This is a fantastic video. This is a FANTASTIC video. WARNING: disturbing images of the war, its victims, Katrina's aftermath and its victims, and shots of Dubya. Two years and the jackass is gone for good.

AHH!!! I've been skimming LJ (translation: not really reading anything at all) so if you've mentioned a book title, I have no idea what it is, but that sounds like something I'd LOVE.

(Ooooh. You should pick up a copy of Unit 721, about Nanking and Ro, and the secret human experiments the Japanese were doing on Manchurians and Chinese during WW2. I had NEVER heard about that before - not in school, at any rate.)

*adds it to list* There was an amazing documentary about the trains that took the Jewish children out right before the Gestapo rolled over Poland, and how the US refused to take any of the children, and how the UK stepped up and took thousands. It was amazing. (And upsetting. But wonderful to hear the stories of the British families and their "new" children.) ... Der Kindershtad? Hmmm. That doesn't sound right. I can't remember the word for "train" in Deutch. Bahn? Der Kinderbahn?

Great, great vid. I sent it on to my brother. He'll really like it. When Ron gets home from L.A. he'll love it too.

Oh, man. Ron's in LA where it's super warm?? We had a 40 degree day with crazy winds, so I'm jealous!

And yeah - this was a great, impassioned vid, huh? *hugs you*

That vid was awesome. Simultaneously hilarious and horrifying. Thank CHRIST for democracy, that's all I can say. For the first time in more than a decade, I actually have hope for the future of the Western world.

Thank you. I loved it, even though seeing Bush always makes me feel rather ill.

Sadly, the idiots in my husband's family who voted for Bush still don't get it.
