First off, Happy Birthday to kben Did you wake up and find Kennedy under your tree? Don't be so hung over that you can't dive back into your screenplay...

Secondly, karabair you are going to rock today!! For those not in the know, she is giving a presentation to a University about being a fangurl, and her essay on said topic is being published! Woot!

Third: I got nothing. Off to drink coffee, lay manure (not my own) in the garden, then today is volunteer day with the city. Should be incredibly hehhhh.

OMG, you rule the world!

I am nervous about this reading because of some of the people who will be there -- I will feel judged. It's ironic that the essay started out being about something that embarrassed me, then i decided to publish it and get up and talk about it in front of everyone I know. ay-ay-ay!

Just picture yourself naked, and you won't worry about who is in the audience. Wait, that's wrong. Picture yourSELF naked. Huh?

It's fun. It's carefree. And it's interesting and thoughtful to boot. Your friends and family that will be there will be proud of you for doing it, regardless of the topic. I promise!!

Right before a performance, I always felt the need to, um, toot. Go to the bathroom before you walk in the hall to eliminate any problems. :-) Now you'll think of that instead of worrying about the subject matter!!! Sending good kharmic thoughts your way...
