This is for anelith, who asked me to do this a year ago. Meep! Sorry. I'll first say that this movie is one of the greatest feminist statements of the past twenty years. And is one of the best movies in the past twenty years, as well. All of this is my opinion, of course, and just typed right into LJ, so it's a bit disjointed.
