Welcome to tornado alley
Apr. 3rd, 2007 08:35 pmBASEBALL sized hail, just 20 miles south of us. Egg-sized hail four miles away. I bet the coach is glad I told him he should cancel the game tonight. (He's from Canada. He knows snow. I know tornadoes.)
Rule of thumb: when the sky looks like a bruise, and you can no longer hear birds, GO INDOORS. Or you know... you can see clouds CIRCLING overhead. O_O
...we have blankets, cell phone and pillows in the "safe room" of our house, and I'm going back to watching the radar. (Turning off comments, not because I don't care about your thoughts, etc, but because I'm shutting all the electricity off, just to be safe.)
