  • This pool - simple, you know? or possibly this one. Oooh.
  • This picture D'AW! "I lookin' the wrong way!" I love how CERTAIN the cat is about the direction of lookulation. <3 cats
  • I love how delicious the peas are in my garden right now - I snap a few off in the AM when I get my paper and it's a TASTY breakfast. 1 bushel and counting...
  • the soon to be red tomatoes in my garden - MMMMMMM.
  • my kids. The Boy has just been a SUPERSTAR for the past two days. (Also, watching him belly laugh makes me so happy, my eyes sting with tears. I can remember his very first laugh prompted by the BFF's dog snatching food from the air and it was a thing of wonder to behold.) <3
  • talking about anything and everything with a good friend (<3 you Jess!)
  • sending hilarious emails back and forth that make no sense to the outside world (<3 you Lee!)
  • drunken IM (for once, not me) first thing in the morning (<3 you Dovil!)
  • my flist keeping me up to date on fics to read, pictures to see, shows to watch (<3 you Flist!)
  • THE OFFICE OH MY GOD IN HEAVEN/EARTH/SKY/WATER, I love that show.

I want a pile of Stanley Nickels. <-- laughed myself sick, oh my goodness. I totally teared up at the surprise ending (and laughed at the REAL ending, FTW, Temp!) and may have clapped my hands like Tinkerbell was going to snuff it.

I am going to sit in the breeze in the garden, eat some fresh veggies I grew by hand, and watch life pass me by. Bliss. I hope everyone has an utterly fantastic day today.

It IS a great day! The weather is absolutely to die for--breezy, sunny, high about 70. BLISS. When I get home this afternoon, I'm parking my butt on the porch and just relaaaaaaax.

I watched the show three times last night and each time, I fell more and more in love with certain parts. Stanley Nickels! Pam as Secret Assistant to the Regional Manager! Temp now Boss! Creed's blog! (Oh, how I wish that had been an actual webpage) Pam, my beloved Pam! DWIGHT! Pam/Jim! Meredith's hitting on Jim!

Oh, show. *flails*

I like the fact that if someone were to stumble onto our emails, they would more than likely think we are insane.

SHOW!!! Oh my gosh, I'm about to re-watch it again because it makes me SO HAPPY I COULD SPIT. Or smile. Probably smile.

CREED'S BLOG! Ahahahahahaha.

And you know what about our emails? THEY WOULD BE RIGHT. <3 About to go have a game of catch with #2. D'awwww!

My pool votes are for "simple" and "this one." I like swimming laps, though, and I'd get all irritated if I had to navigate a shallow parabola to gets my exercise done. Hee!

I spent too much time in cheeseburgerland. How do I properly bill time to "I'm in ur fridge eatin ur foodz?"

I like the simpler ones, the more I look at them. I mean, those fabulous lagoon pools are GORGEOUS, and some of our friends have those style pools, and they're very elegant and wonderful. And then Ilook at my kids jamming hot dogs in their mouths and walking the neighborhood with no shoes and think, "simple."

I LOVE THAT WEBSITE. Go click on the "invisible" tag and laugh for HOURS. Invisible Measuring Tape is one of my most favorite. (Invisible Ring O'Fire is hands down the fave.)

Invisible mouse! That made me go all fuzzy with its complete cuteness!

the soon to be red tomatoes in my garden Garden grown tomatoes are made of yummy. And someday soon you'll be eating your tomatoes by your pool! Perfect summer lunch, that.

HEEEE! Wasn't that funny? Mouse is all *hides stock still* and Cat is going *to the right!*

TOMATOES. I have a rambling pumpkin vine and cucumbers starting to shoot out, too. Mmmmm, veggies!! Hopefully we'll get peppers soon. The hot variety have always done well here, but the bell peppers? GAH. I've had rotten success.

It does, right? And can't you see the volleyball net stretched across it? And you in your inner tube and flippy swim foot paddles sipping deliciousness with a bendy straw?

EEEEE! *gets new floaties to match yours*

I am having horrible pangs of jealousy over your garden. I want one so badly. I want to have fresh veggies! But alas, I have two black thumbs and I don't even know where to start. I need to, like, pay someone to get one started for me, and then I can take care of it.

::weeps::

It's really a nice day, though.

Dude, if I get down to Houston in the near future, I will TOTALLY put in a veggie garden for you. (Just buy me booze. I work for 'ritas.)

Heh. And I'm interested in other stuff that you might have to say, ahem. <-- more code. Ahahahah. I AM SUBTLE, LIKE WHOA. Or like woad.

You need to come to Houston! Not just garden-wise, although that would be a plus. And I will PAY YOU IN BOOZE!

Right now I'm feeling so damn nostalgic for all the peeps I met at Writercon.

And wow, I just said "peeps". I deserve a whipping.

Oh my gosh, I miss all the WC peeps, too!!! *bites their marshmallowy heads off, YUM*

Seriously, high on my list of priorities is getting to Houston and hanging with you. (And you know that if you ever get up this far you HAVE to come see me/stay with me, right?!)

If another hurricane comes through, you might get your wish! When Rita came, I high-tailed it to Dallas. That particular road trip was MADE OF FAIL.

Mmm, marshmallow....

Some of those pools are more like lakes. Possibly inland seas. Wow.

You have nice weather. ::iz jelus:: My drama teaching room didn't get above fifty-eight degrees today, let alone the temperature outside.

Grr.

I like the first one! It is... very simple and clean, you know? I like clean. Er. Not in the sense of actual cleanliness, obviously *hides in total fear of the rest of the house*.

Just - very pool like, yes, as E says :)

ALso, you can *make* your garden around it, which would be verrah verrrah cool!

I vote for the first pool design. Clean. Simple. Pretty.

And yay! for the boy being a ray of sunshine.

The dark blue pool is pretty. My aunt has one of those, but she's in LA. I think that in Texas, you need a bright blue pool. The second one is my favorite of them all.
