*okay, that is totally freaking cool, and I have a crush on these high school boys. Lock me up, because I'm too bad to be free.

And someone please bring me some pain killers and muscle relaxers. I moved a HALF TON (literally!) of compost and manure today and I am enfeebled.

I was too tired for a bath! I took a loooooooong shower and collapsed on my bed and watch Food Network. :D I just sent the mister off to get some sushi for our din, then it's drinky drinky time!

(And I would too! Even though I would murder my son if he did that to our house.)

That was AWESOME! Though, where the hell were the neightborhood girls? I would totally have been on some of that rooftop slippy slide action when I was a stoopid teen. Broken neck be damned, I was immortal, too!

Actually, as an adult, that makes me afraid for parents everywhere. It was terribly inspirational...

You moved half a ton of compost in this heat and humidity?!? My husband's cleaning out the '68 Chevelle, and it's all I can do to drink a beer and fan myself...

Yeah, right? Those boys must live on a block like the one I lived on in high school: all boys and me and my sisters the only girls. (I loved that block like flowers love rain.)

We used to jump off our neighbor's roof onto the trampoline, then flip into the pool. I get cold sweats thinking of doing that again. The broken necks we could have gotten!! One guy in my school actually died trying to recreate that when he was drunk. :(

I did! I need a full body massage, nachos, margaritas STAT. I am EXHAUSTED.

Oh, and did you notice that after the first run they parked a van under the slide for more support? :| Can you imagine if that broke apart? I'm such a mom, I can't help it.

*clutches you* YES! Their homeowners insurance if anything had gone wrong! The lawsuits!! (I may be scarred from a neighbor who made all of us kids get our parents to sign insurance waivers before we were allowed to jump on their trampoline...)

I feel sore, but it's a good hurt. We're off to soak in the pool for a few hours, that's always good for what ails you. :D

Well, I'm right there with you, because that's the first thing I thought of, too! Not just that but how dumb those guys were for putting ALL OF THEIR NAMES on the end, including the kids that showed up at night time. I can just see one mom finding that and writing them all down and playing telephone tree with all the parents.

(I also wondered what the hell the NEIGHBORS were thinking!)

I don't know if they get bonus points for improvising with the van or lose points for not bracing the slide in the middle. Eeeep.

And yeah, I just kept expecting someone to miss the pool-- I saw a lot of them landing wrong-- so when that kid did, I was all, shit, that's it, broken bones now. And then the "he's fine" screen. I think someone needs to be smacked upside the head.

I have no kids. Why am I such a mom?
