Go hug someone today.
Mar. 24th, 2008 01:51 pmAnd consider this a hug from me. One of the Katrina refugees that ended up at my daughters' elementary school died suddenly this weekend, we've just learned. 11 years old, and she survived one of the worst events in US history, too. She was an absolute peach of a child, loved school, and was very quickly welcomed by all the kids when she arrived unexpectedly during the hurricane crisis.
Life is short and precious.
(disabling comments because what is there to say?)
If nothing else, sit in some sunshine and let your skin be warmed - there's Mother Nature's hug for you.
