1. I just got a solid 8 comments that are obviously spam to the Sparkledammerung posts, but not to the post, just to random comments there. If you commented on those posts, and you get something weird, feel free to ignore it. I'm marking them as spam every time they come in.

3. I am going to sit on a patio today with the Mr. and have a glass of vino and something delicious to eat because I walked 15 miles today (still at a 10mph pace, aww yeah!) and the very center of the back of my thigh, right where it meets my tush is freaking sore as hell and I deserve some kind of reward.

4. Adam Jones is about to get a serious smackdown from the whole team for his foolishness last night. Good lord, Pacman, you just got reinstated to the NFL! Douche nozzle.

5. Thanks again to those of you that have made donations to my 3 Day fundraising. Next week I'll get a poll going for you to submit names that you'd like me to carry to the finish line. :)

(and the link goes to my walking partner as she's finding that her company won't let her mention the 3 Day or get any donations from co-workers, yet they allow the other workers to have Pampered Chef parties AT WORK, as well as a co-worker selling Mary Kay at her cubicle, and another co-worker soliciting folks to join their lunch-time Bible study. Again, AT WORK. But raising money for breast cancer? Absolutely not! WTF?)

I got friended by a journal that's got all these sex-related comms friended (http://xmurf.livejournal.com/profile). The last (visible) post to the journal was in 2006. And a birthdate of 1890. WTF? Where do these people find me? I know it's got to do with the mutual interest of "fisting". It's like the guys who try to chat me up in bars -- they're always slightly crazy old guys.

Isn't that shameful? She doesn't have the energy to say anything. They think she's weird because she doesn't go to church, is a vegetarian, and runs for fun. It's a toxic work environment on the best days.

Isn't that just gross? They're such hateful people to her, too. She's one of those really quiet introspective types, and they see her as weak and just treat her terribly. She's looking for other jobs becausae she's NOT confrontational in the slightest, and gets to where she feels ill just thinking about it. :(

I want to fly out there and smack people on her behalf.

Nov. 6 is the last day (Thursday) and whatever you're able to give, I'm grateful for! (If Chrissy's is less than my amount, you can send her the donation. I don't know why they don't have a team tally instead of individual....)

I am very pro-genetically modified foods because I understand the basics (and just slightly beyond) of genetic engineering and know that it could half the number of people that die from starvation. but some people think it's "bad" without understanding what it really entails. I need to post when I'm not bothered.

OooooOOooo I would love a butt rub with those hands. The Mr. blows and is lazy. (read: I ask him to rub me all the time and he's mean to me.) I'm going to get a massage SUnday, I think. I hope it's a hot young dude. :D

Sounds like her company is okay with selling things, but not soliciting for donations. It's a stupid policy, but it isn't necessarily random. She could still file a complaint.

I have never heard of a company that would allow charitable fund raising. WTF?

My firm has "5 dollar Fridays" - wear jeans to work, pay 5 bucks for the privilege and it goes to charity. Right now they sent out all kinds of e-mails and sign up forms for the Race for the Cure. We're one of the big sponsors.

My youngest sister just finished doing her three day walk, so (of course) the whole family donated a lot of money to her. She says it was amazing.
