It helps if you know the song by Metallica for the icon to work... Wanna know what all the dom stuff is about? Today is graduation day. Heading out in a few hours to walk the walk. All you punk-ass "bachelor of arts" wussies better go get me a piece of pie! You lookin' at your new MASTER beyotch! Aw, yeah, I'm hardcore GARDENER in yo face!

Ha ha ha! Seriously, though I am super excited about today. It was hard going back to school, then for this title, you have to give back several hundred hours of volunteer work to the community (which is fun because people are stupid and it amuses me). I am now officially an "expert" on turf, trees, grass, flowers, vegetables, insects and disease. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

A SHINY NEW BADGE!! I can wear it with pride.... Yay me! :-) More Cecily later today!

Congratulations, it's a tough program. Some day I may be able to take sufficient time away from actually gardening to become a Master Gardener.

If you really want a pruning challenge, you could come take on those thirty-odd 100 year od apple trees in my orchard. Bring a cheerypicker.

Be sure to prune those apples into a bowl shape to increase your fruit production. Or just shovel prune them. (I'll let you work that one out in your head.)

You probably have enough real-life experience to reduce the number of classes to take... Do it!!

Laura, longs for pics of your garden and to smell the lovliness

It'd have to be a power shovel of the extra large sort to shovel prune these trees; not to mention I'd be shot like a mad dog by the accumulated masses of my family if I touched them.

Garden pics? hmmmm...

post 116, on that page, is a smidgen of my garden- after two weeks of late May/early June rain, and three weeks of me being housebound by a burned foot. 117 is some of my cows, and the neighborhood, 118 me and my offspring. Otherwise a few random S'cubies.
