No one is posting!! Well, posting things for me sink my teeth in. Since I don't want to lose my happy that I have finally gotten this holiday season, I thought I'd do the [livejournal.com profile] dovil meme where you post a few links to your favorite personal posts. I'll try to not break my arm patting myself on the back...

1. Stupid people rant. Also known as the "Miss Crumpet" story. This was my favorite and most popular post on the topic. Warning! Pet Trauma.
2. [livejournal.com profile] marlo and I had a laugh fest of Simpson's Quotes, and we did most of them by memory, which is either frightening or cool. I'm leaning towards cool so I don't cry at night. Not my journal, so don't spam her.
3. This is my favorite thing I've written. Wes/Fred, short and sweet and heartbreaking.
4. Okay, THIS is my most favorite thing I've written, but taking the subject matter into mind, it may offend some people. In other words, Lubed! The Musical!
5. And last but not least, the post that started it all, the [livejournal.com profile] crazydiamondsue and Stoney tag team of Bad(GREAT!)Fic: Swampy Cum Egressing Like A Snapping Alligator With Turgid, Beautiful Cocks Sitting in and Audience*
*every word here was used in that fic. WOW.

I can't believe that I missed that Simpsons quote post! the rest of these I've seen but they continue to be brilliant. I'm always telling people the Miss Crumpet story.

Actually, Miss Crumpet died of digestion... Blech. Stupid owner.

The simpson's quotes are so fun. I love going back to that and laughing, then getting sad because the show hasn't been good in a looong time.

Whoo hoo to hair cut! Pics! Post 'em, or I'll send my trained eagles to carry you off.

Stupid dog

Never said I wasn't all over the place...

I absolutely loved the Miss Crumpet story. Loved, loved, loved. My sister-in-law and her husband (never clear on whether that makes him my brother-in-law too?) work in Lake Clark National Park in Alaska, and I'm sure you and they could swap many, many stupid people stories, with bears included.

If you check out my memories, there is a second "stupid people" post regarding Old Faithful and unmindful mothers. DEAR GOD: DON'T LET STUPID PEOPLE REPRODUCE, MM'KAY? LOVE, SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T BELIEVE IN YOU. (see: stupid people)

My god, the geyser story... And the story with the honey on the feet... As you can see, words fail me...

they can spam me if they want. I'm bored here at work anyway. ;)

Your icon makes me laugh every time I see it. I'm BORED. I should be doing a million things, but I want internet sparklies.

Do you get a lot of time off for the holidays? Or just a Friday?

I don't get lots off. I get Christmas Eve afternoon off, and then the 27th and 28th because Christmas and Boxing Day fall on the weekend. I also get January 3rd off because New Year's Day falls on the weekend too. But even that much time off makes a total difference when you're used to working 5 days a week, every single week.

Unfortunately I've been pretty busy at work, otherwise, OHHHHH THE SPARKLIES I would bring and give to you.

Loving the CD you gave me! I've listened to the first half and it's great! I'll try and mail yours out today - I'll go to the post office on my break. w00t!

I know I said I was bored - but I'm bored and busy. ;_;

Same here. But I want to be entertained by the internet, and not have my hours whiz by because of phone calls and administrative crap.

I'm so glad you like the CD! I am excited to get one from you, but don't break your neck or anything to get it to me. It'll get here when it gets here. I'm pretty chilliwack. Hee!

Makin' me laugh, makin' me cry.....makin' me snort chicken salad up my nose....

Good times, baby.

Oh and you forgot one of my most used Homerisms: "Mmmm....carboHYdrates....::drool::"

Thanks for posting at the different links above. I love my Wes story like I love my kids. I'm sorry I made you cry! (not sorry at all - heh heh)

My favorite Homer moment was him drooling over the "Good Morning Buger" commercial. "First, we start with rich, creamery butter..."

I love the Guatamalan Insantity Pepper Chili fever dream.

I know you're not sorry you made me cry! I'll get you, my pretty, one of these days, oh yes I will!

1. OMG, I laughed so much it hurts. Little dogs are scary things. (So speaks someone who was terrorized from toddler-hood on by Grampa J.'s chihuahua Tiny. Every cousin in my generation remembers the dog as viscious and terrifying. Come to think of it, Grampa J. was kinda terrifying, too.)

2. *flails* I didn't get the Simpsons-Luv gene. Try to think of it as a genetic flaw & don't hate me for it, please. I want to like them, Lord knows I've tried. I just can't manage it.

3. Oh, I adore that story. *sniff*

4. That was the first thing I'd read of yours. Loves it muchly - loves you and your brain even more for coming up with it.

5. "cream of cum" From whence sprang the icon fully formed. *dies*

Thanks for the afternoon giggles, snorts, and belly laughs.

So you read the Wee!Spike stuff and stuck around? I think I love you more, now. :-)

No worries on the lack of Simpson's love. There's plenty in this world to agree on, right?

Did you not read the bad!fic posts before? Dear, god, there's like 8 in my memories if you need to ever get a boost for your own writing. "She-Juice" also comes from her fic. Heavens preserve us.
