and still look good in a bikini? Boo, universe. Poor design, says I. Cottage cheese thighs need to come back into vogue, is all I'm saying.

So yeah. I'm still doing this TurboFire workout, and holy sheep sheers, it is crazy intense. Day 2 was a 15 minute workout. Oh, that's nothing, you might be thinking. Um, it's 15 minutes of straight up Fire Drills (think every football training montage you've ever seen.) I almost threw up. But then I felt awesome. And then I was hungry. (You do a fire drill, cool for 30 seconds, do it again, cool, do it a 3rd time, then you do a whole new sequence. and repeat it all over again, then one whole NEW sequence, etc.)

And we come back to cheese. Lol. I'm not very good with the whole choreography-style workouts (and I grew up in the age of Jazzercize! Now, I can grapevine right like a mofo) but I'm sure my confusion is helping me burn a few more calories. Or something.

IT'S JERSDAY! (Need to catch up on last week's ep? Here's the recap.) Also on deck is Community and 30 Rock and that makes for a happy Thursday for me. Here, have a picture that will hopefully inspire Jeff/Troy fanfic that you want me to read. :)

I'm not a purse girl. Oh, I love me some fancy shoes, but I'm not a "gotta have the latest bag!" kind of girl. But I want this with the force of a thousand supernovas. (I'm very preppy - I don't like things that sparkle. Lol. I mean, come on. You should have known that by now.) I would also like a weekender bag that looks exactly like it, but the size of luggage. Leather luggage isn't as easy to find as you'd think. Well, if you're willing to spend several thou, then yeah, it's easy. =P

OK, I gotta go eat all the things.

Wow, your workout sounds intense. I think I would probably collapse a lung.

I am so with you on the cheese thing. We should start a web campaign. Chubby thighs are HOT, yo!

Hey, did you get my email about next week?

*smish*

It's REDONK, this workout. But what sold me was the woman on the "you should buy this!" commercial - she's in her 40s and has SEVEN kids and looks amazing. I want to be her.

CHUBBY THIGHS AND HAPPY HEARTS SHOULD BE HOT.

And yes, I did, sorry I've not gotten back to you. Our schedules have been crazy with the weather, so I'm just needing a day of normalcy to get organized for next week. I'm sure we can meet for dinner somewhere. (You staying in the same area?)

Same area, but a different hotel this time (our offices moved a few miles down the road). I'll send you the details.

Can't wait to see you! <333

It's too bad that lower fat cheeses just don't cut it. I made ricotta yesterday afternoon (the milk was going to expire in a couple days), so we snacked on it warm while mainlining the BBC's "Life on Mars" last night. There were a lot of contented sighs.

I am a purse girl! Purses always fit. I collect these: http://enidcollection.com/item/66/

JERSDAY! Let's pre-game with some shots.

Those are amazing! I've never seen anything like that - I assume it's just for collecting, meaning, you don't carry them around, or do you? (see: I have one bag that I've had for years)

I do carry them. The wooden box bags are surprisingly durable. The leather on the bucket bags is hard to keep supple after forty plus years and I worry about a handle breaking while I'm out and about. Between my vintage clothes and these bags, I am nearly always in costume, Stoney!

I can't pre-game, we're going to see some psych-surf bands tonight. I'll be joining Snookie and friends tomorrow afternoon. Shots after lunch!

I love me a retro girl! I'm so fed up with trying to find cute (and not super expensive) 40s-50s style clothing and bathing suits that I'm now just looking for patterns and will make them myself. I want some Beach Blanket Bingo-style bikinis! (And I realize those are 60s, but you know what I mean. PIN UP GIRL CLOTHES.)

Shots tomorrow, gotcha!

Dear god woman, that looks hard on the knees. And the boobages. But I am quite proud of you and hope you don't black your eyes with yer boobs.

Hard on the knees, not so much (they have a person that does a no-impact version of all the exercises on stage with Chalene, the chick that runs the show) but hard on the boobs? Well, that's what Title IX/Athleta is for! (Not one inch of movement in my ultimate high impact bra. Not ONE. INCH.)

I love Kate Spade purses! I, too, know the love of a streamlined leather bag. There's a wholesale shop here that has knockoff Kate Spade bags (not black market knockoffs that are "Kate Spade," more like Kathy Clover or Katie Hoe...I kill me) anyhoo, yes, I've purchased several and have my eye on some real Kate Spade's on eBay.

You were talking about cheese and was swimming in the warm sea of your words, and then you started using hard words that made me feel guilty. Hahahaha! More cheese, I say!

I WANT ALL OF HER PURSES. Oh my gosh, she has a bucket bag with red and white stripes (a navy/white, too) and it's so damn cute and ladylike, I just love it.

I know the big trend for a few years has been the hobo or loads of buckles and tassels and chains and shiny/plasticine leather, but that is just not me.

CHEESE. I might need to let this chambaud come to room temp and nom it. (Oh my god, it's just stinky enough, just creamy enough, and just nutty enough to make me want to eat an entire WHEEL.)

Love the bag - it's got a funky 70's feel to it - I approve!

Have you tried racalette before? Bubbly grilled and served with big wedges of french bread it may be the best food experience ever in the history of the ages, amen.

I've not had that - not that I've known - but now I have to find it and eat it. I like that we're essentially going to be dining on hungs of bread and cheese and washing it down with wine while we're on the road. YOU WILL NOT DEVIATE. Unless it's for chocolate and your god damned diner pie. :)

I only just discovered it a couple of years ago at a wine and food festival where I made lots of porny sounding noises and freaked everyone out in the line behind me - but it was just that good! Also I was frantically masturbating. Come to think of it, maybe that's why they were freaked out?

DINER PIE! How can I go on a roadtrip in America and not have diner pie and my coffee cup refilled by a waitress named Flo. It would be unAmerican!

My most favorite purses are always by Fossil. Not the most expensive purses, but oh my god, they're actually usable! And I get real leather, or corduroy, that holds all my kitchen sink on sale! At Macy's! Whenever I need a good pick-me-up-because-life-sucks!

Though I love shoooooes, too. But I like buying ankle boots and Chucks. They're my kryptonite, too.

I have a canvas cross-body from Fossil that is my regular utility bag. It's greatness, agreed.

I have the black and tan leather ones that called Butterfly or something. It's so useful! I use it if I'm going somwhere where my hands are mandatory. And they're so soft.

You are my workout inspiration, Stoney

Ugh, yes! Then they had a delayed start (by two hours) yesterday, and that was very confusing because I had three different start times for three different schools and we had no clue when the buses would come.

Today, however, today they have class. And I am going out for Pho with an old friend for dinner. RELAXATION, I HEAR YOU CALLING.

<3 (I don't know how y'all do it up there. I'm a total baby in long winters.)

But Kate Spade is highly collectible! When he freaks over the price, show him an alligator Burberry bag that's 13,000, and show him how much restraint you've used. :D

I love that purse. I'm very much like you - just give me a freakin' functional purse. But my miserly heart fell over at the price. Hell, I have trouble paying more than $25 for a purse, 'cause I have such trouble finding ones I LIKE.

I've got my eye on a Swiss Gear electronics bag (hush!) that's $25. I haven't talked myself into it yet.

I'm a big believer in buying only a few things that are really well made. I don't regularly shop, or try out trends, etc., I'm a classics/Tim Gunn kind of girl.

LINKS, PLS. I want to see the bag!

Thank you for the Jersey recaps!

MTV Australia is only up to episode 3, and they don't post the whole show so without your recaps I would be heinously deprived.
