Another busy day in the land of (wanna be) nod(ding off)

  • finish writing up Jersey Shore review, this weekend got away from me
  • pick up a cubic yard of composted mulch and spread it in the garden
  • dig up a good 20 plants and move them before the spring budding explosion
  • laundry
  • bake the week's bread
  • mop (hahahahahah, right)
  • finish sewing new sofa cushions - I've already made the trim, just need to put it all together
  • go to this place and never come back I mean, are you kidding me? Look at this!
  • Stare longingly out at my pool, wish for warm weather
  • finish reading the latest bit of literature I dl'd for my Kindle (hey, it's for work)
  • do my workout - a 25 HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) program
  • watch Real Housewives of Miami - omg, it is going to be a train wreck, YAY!

OK, gotta be good and burn off this lousy winter chub or Imma have to buy new clothes. =P

It was 80+ degrees yesterday so we celebrated President's Day with $3 local pints and pizza on a patio. Winter is nearly over! You'll be in your pool soon.

The three day weekend and the mister on jury duty means my TViewing is waaay behind. Oh, noes, I need to know what alcohol fueled shenanigans the Oompah Loompas are up to!

We had a chill blow through yesterday, but it was in the 70s all weekend. SO LOVELY. I have buds and little shoots busting out of the garden all over, and I'm just ready to put away the sweaters and pull out the sun screen.

Do what my friends did and become a winter swimmer!

Not just no but heeeeeeeeeeeell no. I live in the land of the sun for a reason: I hate being cold.

I'm wicked jealous you have Jwoww's book. I haven't gotten around to purchasing it yet. I think you should definitely post a review when you're done :]

Also, in the most loving way possible, you have no right to complain about the cold when it's about to be 70 and you live in Texas. I live on a beach in Massachusetts (which is no Minnesota or Colorado but still), you have no idea what cold is :P

It's hilariously awesome, and I plan on reviewing it, so yay!

And HA HA. I will remember you've said this when you're complaining about it getting up towards 90 this summer. ;) (And don't forget, I lived at 8000ft on the side of a mountain in Wyoming. I know from cold. Which is why I live in Texas. *G*)

OMG! Need to live in Bali!

I was thinking about you last night. I go to Portland State University, and last night I saw this: http://publichumanities.english.pdx.edu/2010/11/lecture-susanna-morrill/

See!? Academic backing to your theories!

HA! I dare you to call her a plagiarist. ;) That, or tell her your friend Stoney says "You're welcome."

LOL! Should I email her and link your post? I'm not going to the talk, I don't need to - I read your posts!

Ha, go ahead! And do let me know if she mentions that she's already read it. ;)

Heheh, done! I'll let you know what I hear back. I asked for a text copy of her lecture. If I get that, I'll share with you.

So she wrote back...note how she completely ignores the link to your article. I say you should sue!
