Also up are Liz's reviews of Spartacus (and holy hell, is that an awesome show, I'm just starting it, and DAMN. My friends saw Book of Mormon. One said and I quote "Never in all my years of seeing supposed controversial musicals have I ever felt like I was going to hell. This show changed that. I left the show and felt like Jesus was judging me. And it was fucking hilarious."

I think that the 6 episode prequel season of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (season finale was Friday) is better than the first season of the show. The plots are more thought out, you get a lot of backstpries to characters, the acting is better, Lucy Lawless and John Hannah are amazing, plus there's more violence and sex.

I just want the background, because I have mild OCD (must. watch. everything!) but I think I'll end up agreeing with you on the Gods of the Arena series, having watched a few minutes here and there. (And that's the series getting recapped, btw! Liz is hilarious with them)
