Yesterday (and the day before) were rough, but I had a sprinkling of rain this morning (we're in a severe drought in Texas) which cooled the pool off which felt great to swim in which made my life joyous which made me go have delicious Thai for lunch which brings me here to you, sitting in a chili paste stupor.

Mmm, stupors.

Thanks! I know some of the places. I was born in Houston and even though we moved to Cali when I was 2 we would come back to visit every year. I haven't been in Texas for 13 years or so though. I am excited to discover new things and revisit old things I love. I am in Spring where my brother lives.

I don't know much about Spring, other than my ex in laws lived there, but when we go to Houston, we stay with friends in the Heights, and maaaaan, are there some great places in there, very hip, very young, very delicious.
