ION, I have a gaggle of 10 year olds over talking about junk food and how all of their pets died. =/ I'm hiding in my room reading the WORST fanfiction ever. Okay, it's not the worst, as long time flisters know I used to specialize in finding the worst of the worst, but it came HIGHLY recommended and I now question the mental health of everyone who heaped praise on this dreck. (I have to see how it ends, it's so BAFFLING.)

Oh, yeah, I'm well familiar with that. IDK about when you came over to my LJ, but I used to have a series of posts where I'd find truly horrible fic (this was before weepingcock, etc.) and MSTK it.

After several years of that, I just got tired of fanfic. (Until a certain story about a certain pairing - KLAINE - by my friend flaming_muse, and here I am again, having to slog through dreck to get to the good stuff. Fortunately there's a lot of good stuff in that fandom, you just have to know who to trust.)
