So I realized last night that four days ago was my eight year anniversary on Livejournal. I bought a permanent account, too.

Loooooong time, man. And a handful of you guys have been there with me from the beginning, and I love that we still chat. Like zyrya, & chantal87. 2004! Damn. And then there are all of my old RPG buddies from celebs_on_crack and a_list_celebs. THEN THERE ARE MY CRACK FIC/BAD!FIC BUDDIES! Oh, you who have laughed with me over the truly bizarre. Those that came over when there was crazy Jossverse wank...

Good times, man, good times. SO many amazing real life friends that I've made, too. Vacation buddies, dear friends, those of you that have the same wrong(right) sense of humor as me.

ALL THE LOVE, GUYS. Feel free to remind me how we met, by the way. I'd love to take a walk down memory lane with you. I hear they're serving mojitos at the end. *chinfist beaming*

Yeah, I've been here about that long, but never had the extra cash on hand to get a permanent account. I has a sad.

Nice thing is LJ has that kind of permanency; it's weathered a LOT of stuff and keeps coming through better than ever.

Way, way back, I got an email from a company named "Outside Pride". I posted the email any my reaction to it, and someone told me you had gotten one as well. They 'sent me in your direction'. Said company had a few things to say about Cold Case, and about portraying gay people in a positive light. Etc. etc etc.

I've never been sorry. You are an intelligent and funny correspondent and truly admire the way you won't stand for any 'crap', either in your lj or on HDJM.

I've been trying to remember. I'll be 9 years in January for my LJ, and I got a permanent account too, only because I got a refund for something or other that came the same day they were having one of the rare sales on those accounts, ~04 or 05.

I think it must have been through the Buffy fandom, maybe your posts about badfic. I watched those celeb comms for the LOLS. Priceless. It was long before Twilight or your Mormon posts. I've learned so much I have to say. Stayed for the kindness, the recipes, the parenting and the fun!
