I didn't even really like Boone all that much (I was "eh" on his character) but I have to admit, I might have teared up a bit when he died and when Shannon was crying over his body.

I had the opposite reaction when the baby came out. I laughed because it was so big.

That icon is funny. I was kinda sad that we didn't get to hear what Boone wanted to say to Shannon. I was hoping he'd say, "Tell her...tell her...she's bad in bed." Or that she has overly large aureoles or something.

Alright, the comments were funny. Thanks for cheering me up, guys. Now, I didn't cry because Boone died, although now the icon won't get as much usage. I cried because damn it, poor woobie Jack had to watch it happen. And I cried when the baby was born too. Old softie that I am.

I never thought about Boone being reborn in that baby. You do have to admit, that baby looked like it was six weeks old. And its head was shaped kinda funny. But the finger sucking at the end was cute. And why weren't the guys helping to deliver that baby? WTF. Why did they just sit on their asses doing nothing? Moral support here fellas.

You and me, both, on the crying over the baby part. Man, I cry at EVERY baby delivery on TV. I am a SERIOUS baby lover. I honestly thought about becoming a surrogate, so much do I love being pregnant and delivery. But then I'd have to give them away, and I'd hate that.

I'd honestly do it for my BFF if she asked. BABIES.

Did you see that baby holding it's head up and eyes open and not puffy? Come on. But baby boy!!

Well, my thoery on the men not doing anything is that Jin is Old School. Men just get in the way and it's "women's work." Which, I kinda support. I did want them to get her to her feet and make her walk around to make it easier on her body, though. Worked for me...

Mystical Island will find a way to keep Boone from diappearing altogether. Creepy Watcher Baby will slaughter everybody one by one and steal the raft to sail to the Island of Large Headed Infants. Jack will hang Locke up by his toenails, but that will be a mistake because Locke will become a god via the Hatch o' Faith.

I really didn't want Boone do die, because he's so pretty. But then I didn't want anybody to die. I'm attached to them all, even Kate, whom everybody else hates.

I think there must be some sort of Law of Conservation of Souls on the island, so someone had to die so Claire could have her baby. Not so sure that Boone is reincarnated as the baby. I have another theory about that.

The other reason I had tears in my eyes when Boone died is because Locke will feel so horribly guilty when he comes back from the hatch and finds out Boone is dead... oh, and also because Jack cried. Owie.

adis723 said something about a synopsis she'd read somewhere with the words that Boone would no longer be a regular. That started me thinking... dangerous for my poor little weak brain, I know. The waffle-y wording there, "no longer a regular" rather than "kicked off the show, never to be seen again" makes me think that we'll be seeing him in future episodes. We've already had one episode where a person known to be dead (Jack's father) was seen, a la Obi Wan Kenobi.

We can either see Boone in flashbacks, or we can see his shade/ghost appear on the island. I hope it's the latter, that would be more interesting. Maybe we'll have both. The more Boone the better. Preferably with eyeliner. Maybe he'll haunt Locke.

If anyone's heard any spoilers about this, please don't tell me. I don't mind speculating, but don't want to really know.

I am in denial over Boone's death. If the island can fix Locke's legs, it can mojo Boone back to life. And then there will be Jack/Boone slashy goodness, because their love is so "I'm gonna save you" OMG!!! Also, Boone's soul is not in the baby because that would mean that Jack/baby would be my new OTP, and that is just gross.
