uberaeryn's birthday and she is OLDER THAN ME. But not dirt. Or god. She is older than the tree in my front yard. She is also older than the milk in my fridge, and my cat - who is OLD for a cat, and I'm counting people years, not cat years, because then my cat is older than Kathy. But not by much.
I have held her wee hands, I have played with her hair, and I have bought her a beer that was "larger than her head." And will do all of it again at some point, unless she pisses me off and I have to CUT HER OFF. Hahaha. SERIOUSLY. Watch yer butt, woman. Your teeny, skinny butt. Happy Birthday.
A few recs from things I've stumbled across: if you like dreamy/ethereal Alias fic,emma_daisy has written a lovely piece, and I don't even KNOW who the characters are. But the words are painted in a lovely manner that I find pleasing. As if you didn't know already, winterlive is writing RPS of boys who are sexy and confused and on a show I don't watch called Supernatural. And although I know NOTHING about the show, I know good writing. Last chapter with links h e r e. Question: how good is the new Strokes album? Loved their first one. Not Radiohead loved, just good background bopping music for various activities. Worth a listen? I await your knowledge.
In closing, the words of Jeff Murdock (who is the man in my icon, those who don't know and SHAME ON YOU. FUNNY!): "When God made the arse, he didn't say, 'Hey, it's just your basic hinge, let's knock off early.' He said, 'Behold ye angels, I have created the arse.
