So, I just stopped, tapped my chin while thinking deeply as I write an NC-17 scene between TWO CARTOON CHARACTERS. (Metalocalypse) This, after re-tooling a scene with a red-headed pimple-faced squid meeting Argus Filch. And before that, re-writing the bible for hillbillies.

OH. MY. GOD. I think I need a vacation. Or a brain transplant. *waves at you all from the bottom of the barrel* I think I'm officially crazy now.

GAH, Anne, I TOTALLY meant to comment back yesterday. Argh. PAINTING THE HOUSE. Did it end up matching closely enough? *rubs your shoulders* I think you deserve a whole PLATE of cookies, and maybe dinner out, so you don't have to cook/clean up.

G-FORCE. And Star Blazers, oh my god I LOVED that show!! I need to find those on DVD. I loved them so much. (I had total crushes on Mark - that while suit! and Luke Skywalker. To the point of having cereal with them in the morning. I was in elementary school, for the record.) I've not even mentioned how I couldn't change my clothes in my bedroom for fear my Hardy Boys poster was watching me.

I... I've been broken for a long time, I'm afraid.

Well, fine, I won't bore you with the Mary Sue fantasies I was having about appearing on some crappy kid's show with...I think a monster? Or a dinosaur. Anyway, he was the BFF of the two boys on the show, and the girl who lived next door to them.

I was planning on inserting myself into the storyline as a gymnast -- I would take several tumbles on the balance beam, and the older of the two brothers, who sometimes played his *guitar*, would TEWTALLY fall in love with me right then and there!

It would have been a triumph, my god!

Um, i would LOVE to be bored, I mean ENTERTAINED with that!!!! (And you aren't talking about Sigmund the Sea Monster and Johnny and Scott are friends are you? Ahahahaha. I keed.)

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BEST SHOW EVER. STORY. Reality. Whatever. What show was this?? Gymnastics proving your awesomeness? I would TOTALLY be on board that train.

I had this thing (um... I think I still do) about athletic prowess (mine) showing my kewlness to someone, and validating me as a person of Kewl. Probably because I'm not athletic/graceful. Hahaha.

G-FORCE! OMG I didn't think anyone ever saw that show but me!!!! Not that I had naughty thoughts about Mark and Jason and totally Mary Sued myself into the show. Who was the villain? I can't remember, but he was evil and ineffective, as all cartoon villains are. That was a great show. ::nostalgic sigh::

I am unfamiliar with G-Force (but will totally check it out at home tonight). I came up with She-Ra and He-Man, in the magical land of the lesbian icon, her charming leather dude brother, and oodles of incesty possibilities. (And the Smurfs, where there was one female in a village chock-full of men, and occasionally baby Smurfs would come popping up. With no explanation. o.O) Oh, my childhood. <3333333333

(I also used to watch Jonny Quest with my dad and harass him endlessly about that nice doctor and his mercenary husband and how cute it was to see them raise a family together. Even though Race totally had Caesar-tastic intentions towards Hadji. Ahem.)

omg, I shipped Mark/Princess so hard when I was in 3rd grade. I wanted weird flippy hair like Princess, and I made one of those wingy cape things for my Barbie.

And apparently, in the original Japanese version, Zoltar was a hermaphrodite. Children's TV needs more hermaphrodites, I think.

so, i stumbled onto this post by accident while doing a google search. (i'm on a bit of a toki/skwisgaar kick right now... but am a complete n00b to the metalocalypse fandom, so had no idea where to look for anything good.)

anyway, i hope you'll forgive me randomly butting in like this. and i realize this post is over a year old -- but i couldn't find the story you were hinting at anywhere in your memories. i don't suppose it ever got written/posted somewhere?
