I think it's important to note that first off, I'm a little drunk. by which I mean a lot, because let's face it, I'm over 40% liver, which means I can drink anyone (except for Kiwis, possibly Australians) under the table, despite what hateful New Zealanders might say about me and throwing up in public. What you need to remember there is that New Zealanders have an agenda, and it's bad for me. So, clearly, they can't be trusted. (Except when they give you DVDs with hot guys that are funny, I like that about them.)

I also like cabernet sauvignon. I have no idea if I spelled that correctly and really don't care. It's good, the stuff I'm drinking. McManis? Yum.

It would be super if my husband wasn't working (as usual) because kissing sounds really good right now. Do you ever get that feeling? Not sex, just making out. Like you were 17. It isn't helping that I found pics of my prom and the cute boy that took me and how awesome young kissing is.

In conclusion, I need some food to go with this wine. What the hell is up with this impulse to communicate with you all when I drink? Good lord, i'm going to regret this, aren't I? At least I think I spelled things properly.

Also, there are a lot of you that I miss posting on a regular basis and I wish life wasn't busy for you, because I like the chatter. But I get that life is > internet, because that's sad otherwise.

Huh. I should, uh, log off, after that, huh? eta I just got a notice that there's a feature film about Cthulhu being made and they need a person that fits my profile! DUDE. I would love to be in a movie about the Spaghetti monster!! *woe*

I was always so disappointed that I was never in Birmingham when you were. It would have been awesome and I always missed you by, like, a week. Hopefully sometime our trips there will coincide. There was only one post about it so you didn't miss much. And thanks! It's likely that I'll get to go - it costs about as much to do summer school here as it does to do one of the study abroad programs. Where is still up in the air, but I'm leaning toward Geneva.

Hopefully the timing works out and I can go to Writercon too. Of course I *should* get a job or something, but I'd rather hang out with you guys.

That bottle of merlot that we had was fantastic! Ohhh, ohhhhh, leave some wine in the bottle and leave it by your bed so when you wake up tomorrow you've got that great red wine smell wafting out at you - maybe throw in a couple of cigarette butts as well.

Mmmm, my favorite moderately priced tequila is Milagro Silver. The expensive stuff? Tres Generaciones. There's a kind that comes in a bottle shaped like a worm that I can't remember what it's called, but it's DELICIOUS.

I liked whites at first, too, but now I'm all about the reds. I think I needed to find stuff that wasn't so astringent - that *cack* feeling on the back of your tongue? But Santa Margherita is my absolute most favorite wine - Pinto Grigio. I high ly recommend it!

Milagro is yummy. Haven't tried the other, mostly because of my budget. The boyfriend loves his Patron, so we usually have that. Will have to talk him into Tres Generaciones someday. Mmm, wanting some tequila now. :D

That's the problem that I have with wine, too. (along with many others, I'm sure.) That astringent flavor isn't good. Will have to try the ones you recommend.

MMMMMMilagro...my favorite! For her wedding my cousin got one of the really pretty blown glass bottles of Milagro, between 4 or 5 of us we killed it pretty quickly and then she had a nice souvenir of her bachelorette party (well, that and a few bruises from where we thought we could fly off the counter tops with sheets for capes....don't ask).

I don't know anything else! I get call sheets for available auditions, and they list all the other auditions going on, and they wanted a woman 20s-30s, average looking/girl next door that can portray sweet and smart *cough* for a movie about Cthulhu! That would be badass if I got it, but I won't.

Boy is there any room around here for a girl with 12 years of sobriety? Tequila was always my drink of choice - and I have to agree that drunk making out is awesome. I also remember fondly drunk peeing. Silly thing, I know. But when you are at some club waiting on line for the ladies' room and you finally make it, peeing feels sooooooo good. (Now you know why I am sober for 12 years - it was that or institutionalization) I went for sobriety so I could stay out in society and continue to create havoc which I learned wasn't so hard to do sober.

Oh yeah waking up with the smell hanging on you like a cheap suit is always cool. I remember once in (year deleted) the NY Nets won the ABA Championships. I hung out with a couple of the players and got involved in the champagne bash in the locker room. Woke up the next morning to find all my hair (waist length) sticking straight out to one side and hard as a rock. And I don't even remember falling asleep. Ah the good old days.
