I can't write, can't think, I'm filled with ennui, and I want to be out in the garden doing stupid-hard work, but it's going to be 100F, so I shouldn't be an idiot, right? (I have a total of - wait for it - 800lbs of decomposed granite to spread out. Oh, decomposed just means it's been crushed and tumbled so there are no sharp points. I actually like doing this sort of thing, it's great exercise and I like being able to DO it, if that makes sense? But yeah. It's hot.) Bleh.

So! I get to be with my in laws all day tomorrow which means today I am mentally preparing myself for all of the craziness. And so? I POLL!



*there is no scientific significance to this poll, so the first person that takes this shit seriously and corrects me on something - as happens almost EVERY TIME I DO A POLL, INEXPLICABLY - is the first person getting shoved into the pool while fully clothed. :D

Livejournal is still a close third after my other two choices regarding time spent. FB is where most of my friends are now hanging out and I'm housebound/chronically ill so that's how I stay in touch. Twitter is how I network with new people and as I get closer to publication that's important. Livejournal is still my primary blog and I have a separate group of friends here (with some overlap on FB). I'm not remotely as happy with FB in most regards software-wise as I am with LJ (discussions are painful to have without threaded comments) but it's where my peeps mostly are now.

Never was into fanfic though I've enjoyed a few that people have referred me to. Nothing wrong with it, just not my cup of tea.

Not into internet porn. I'm close to menopause and just not feeling it. :)

If friends migrate from FB to something else, I'd leave it in a hot second. I'm at LJ to stay, though, even if it isn't as active. I still read a fair amount here because I get a bunch of feeds here and I do still have some actively posting friends though some went to dreamwidth. I like that LJ is a hotbed of social activism in Russia, that's kinda cool even if it leads to attacks that occasionally shut down LJ for a bit.
