I have consulted my calendar and realize that my offer of having people out to stay at my house and see Star Wars Episode III was off by a week. Mainly: if we push it ahead, we have the bonus of everyone who goes to Gay Rodeo with crazydiamondsue can carpool down to my place, and bonus of kids having a sleep over, which means:

Kegger! We can get trashed Sunday night, stay up watching the SW marathon all night, then go see the flick in the morning of Monday, May 30. DUDE!! So much fun can be had. (this is extended to my and Sue's flist only. Unless I know you , you know?) So now: POLL.

I know that. It's just a conclusion I came to reading something Sue said somewhere today. I thought you should know.

I've been in Waco in December, when it was 15^oF in the daytime, and I've been there in February when it was 80^oF and I couldn't buy a swimsuit anywhere because it wasn't swimming season (despite the fact theat I can buy a suit up here any time of year, at the same brand store).

It's soured me.

I have no excuse for not going except for the massive airline ticket purchase that we have to make every summer to go visit family, which makes buying any *other* travel purchase feel extravagant. Buying 4 tickets really kind of hurts, ya know? And we do it twice a year, once for my family and once for his. Remind me why we live so far from our folks again? Oh yeah, so my husband can have a job.

Whoo hoo!! That would be terrific!! Yes, please come, and I'll get a group email organized soon so we can coordinate times, number going, ticket purchases, sleeping arrangements, etc.

Mainly: May 30 see movie in AM, people can come on the 29th and "sleep over" at my place. The kids will most likely be gone, so there'll be 3 bedrooms, plus a gameroom for sleeping.
