I haven't eaten yet today, so this is going to be quick before I dive face-first into some Thanksgiving leftovers (oh my god, my sister should have taken more with her, I made too much!!)

The Walking Dead. Damn. Massive triggers for sexual assault, so be warned and take care. I was spitting and hissing and about to tear my hair out, which led to an awesome discussion with my husband about feminist issues, and it's lovely that he's so amenable to learning empathy for situations that he can't conceive.

Also, we are totally going to rock the End Times with our skills. It's always comforting to know that (lol).

And now I heat up some Four Cheese Macaroni and walk past fresh vegetable with a devilish laugh. OH! Teen Wolf's Season 2 is on Netflix, now, and just in time for our recaps! And in case you missed it, the Twilight Breaking Dawn finale was recapped by yours truly, and yes - it was just as awful as you thought it would be. Delightfully awful (and mostly because it's over!!)

Some lovely person made a donation to the web site this morning, and THANK YOU VERY MUCH! (It's pretty much supported by yours truly, and I just had to pay for all of the background spam filters again, so it is PERFECT timing to cover that particular cost! I'm very grateful to you, sweet, kind reader! We write there because we love it, but it sure is wonderful to be supported by our readers!)

I have been playing phone tag all day with four groups of people, trying to communicate to each of them what the other is saying and this would be better if PEOPLE WOULD RETURN MY CALLS. (I really really loathe our legal system. REALLY.) My life is still crazy, but there is a huge light at the end of the tunnel, and if I can get this damn car off the tracks, blocking me, I can get TO the light. (subtext: please understand that I am not really able to be around to chat much.)
DUUUUDE. The Walking Dead. Good lord, that show is GRIM. It makes Oz look like an After School Special at times. Wow, I am going to need people to come over and talk to me about this episode because GOD.DAMN.

Also up at HDJM: Dexter, Supernatural, and Teen Wolf later today. (I have fallen into a Sterek-sized hole, it seems. I'm just into S2 now. Guilty pleasure tv!) Tonight is the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which I adore, and look. I need distractions, okay? I need to keep busy, and this is a great way to do so.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. It is FREEZING here (literally, it was 28F this morning when I finally got up) and should barely get into the upper 50s with sunny skies. It's about damn time fall decided to show up! Bread-baking weather, for sure. Or a cake. MMM, CAKE.

Cake: Y/Y? Or other delicious item that you will present me with in comments with accompanying recipe. :)

(And thank you thank you THANK YOU for all of the love and support. Boy, did I need it on Friday. <3 right back to you.)
Guys? The Walking Dead was... I'm not going to say ANYTHING in case someone hasn't seen it yet, but GET ON THAT ASAP.

Recap/Discussion post/My freaking out is right here. GUYS. Guys. I'm still filled with adrenaline from that ep.

(I have a serious plea-post that will be coming later, and didn't want to cross these two streams. So bear with me. Well, it's not like your flist is filled up, right? <3)
A lot of people I care about are in the path of a horrific storm, so I hope you're all safe, well, stocked, and following my Apocalypse Plan to the letter. It will get you through the rough times. ;)

ON THAT NOTE, HOLY SMOKES THE WALKING DEAD. Boy, am I loving this season. Recap, discussion, theories and questions for you here.

It's finally a good day here at Casa Piedra (Stone House) with a feeling of "we're going to get through everything," and it's the first time we've all been able to drop our shoulders for days, now. Yesterday I had to deal with a MiL who showed up at the hospital (preventing me from getting in to see my son, because there's a limited # of family in the room rule), and then she passive aggressived all over me for her not having On The Minute information, and I almost snapped, guys. ALMOST. But it's known by the Hubs that at this point, I am calling out all B.S. because I do not have the energy to make a grown ass woman feel better about things with all the stuff I have going on, I just really do not.

Meanwhile, the Mr. is back up at our son's school gathering data (so we can swing the Hammer of Thor) on them. And a lovely lovely flister, [livejournal.com profile] anotherviolentv translated my son's essay into Spanish, and it's so, so lovely. (I've added it to the original post.) And people continue to add great and hilarious things to the Happy Post, if you're needing distractions or happy-making things to get through your day.

<3 (and now to finally eat today...) ONE DAY YOU WILL NOT CRINGE WHEN YOU SEE A POST FROM ME. I hope. =/
WHEE!! The Walking Dead premiered last night, and I took over the recaps (our former writer has left) and I AM EXCITE. Guys, y'all know this is my wheelhouse. Come talk to me!

Also up: Torchwood (every Friday!) and SPN. Oh, I love you, TV. :D

This is a glorious week for me, because Friday I am winging my way to California for a Writer's Retreat (5 whole days!) with [livejournal.com profile] flaming_muse, and we're going to meet up with [livejournal.com profile] bdbdb and we have Sooper Secret Events that I am looking forward to, and just... BOY DO I NEED A VACATION. \o/

I'm putting a place-holder here for some gardening pics, because I spent Saturday ripping out craziness and replanting things as the Big Overhaul of 2012 continues. <3

HELLO EVERYONE! It's a wonderful Monday. :D
