Quick update

1. Planted 10 trees yesterday, 4 more are about to get planted and then I need to rip up the last of the sod, move a good 15 cubic yards of soil and a (literal) ton of rock.
2. Sent the Mr. to the day laborer camp ground (it's all air conditioned with food and water, too, in your face Tea Partiers!) to pick up some guys that want lunch, drinks, and cash in hand to help me.
3. Have watched way too much Criminal Minds as I'm all worried that there's a serial killer hunting them (there are no deaths, I've just been watching a lot of that show) and I want to warn them about "bad people."
4. OH HEY MY POOL ONLY NEEDS FOUR MORE INCHES OF WATER TO BE FULL.
5. Chemicals/pumps get turned on today.
6. We've been filling it up since Saturday. That's a lot of water, folks. 38,000 gallons.
7. I hated 95% of True Blood's finale last night. Lamest vampire fight EVER. Ever. (put "spoilers" in subject if you talk about it, pls.)

Okay, getting on my gardening togs and heading out back to rip up sod, till in healthy soil, plant 4 Leyland cypress trees (they're already 15 feet tall) and then mulch. We'll see if I have any energy left to start moving rock. That'll probably wait until tomorrow. THAT'S WHEN I'LL POST PICTURES. OH MY GOD POOOOOOL!

(OOOH, and tonight is the 19th Wife, which I am DVRing and the EPIC HOARDERS EPISODE. Eeesh.)

I DID NOT LOVE THE GODRIC IS JESUS PART. I KNOW, I KNOW, I'M A JERK. BUT YEAH - BILL AND SOOKIE TOOK UP TOO MUCH SPACE.

And seriously, why the hell can't Anna Paq STAND STILL and not look awkward? She is seriously uncomfortable in her own skin and it makes me CRAZY.

I assume that she is pants afire! from being in the same room with all those srsly fucking hot people. WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO STAND STILL AROUND ERIC OR PAM OR ALCIDE? Especially if your far less physically attractive husband playing Bill Compton was also in the room? NO YOU WOULD NOT. YOU WOULD BE HUMPING LEGS AND TAKING NAMES.

IT IS SO PRETTY!!!! And seriously, it was HYPNOTIZING to stand at the edge with a hose watching it fill up. The Mr. and I had to keep reminding each other that we can't belly flop in just yet. (Um, esp. as there was barely 1 foot of water in a 9ft hole. O_O)

I just found out Oklahomans qualify for 10 free trees! For something! Redbud trees! I'm finding more info as excitement builds. Our Fair starts Thursday! We are going Saturday! I can only talk in exclamations!

I love Hoyt and Jessica. Also, did you notice his neck wounds looked like hickeys and not the ickiness that is Bill and Sookie at times? Not enough Pam saying awesome stuff. It was just...meh. And then Mad Men was fantastic, truly underscoring the "meh."

Do you have your water bill prorated? 'Cause...eek! And yay at the same time.

HOYT AND JESSICA WERE THE GOOD PARTS. Bill/Sookie were so overwhelmingly awful that it overshadowed all the good stuff. MOAR PAM ALWAYS.

Eh, it's not bad, the water bill. And since I've not run any irrigation in almost 2 months? It won't be much at all.

I think I was growling throughout most of the episode, between harumphs of disdain and outbursts of "NO! WTF?? GYAH!"

I am not happy with this season, overall. Though I did like the crispy critter version of Edgington. It was well done (heh).

I threatened Sookie that if she got back together with Bill, that I would seriously stop watching the show, and then she'd cease to exist. And just when she was almost taking him back, our beloved Eric shows up (how does someone manage to look so damn sexy in CONCRETE??? *melts*) and takes care of the issue for me. YAY ERIC!

I liked Crispy Russell, too, and thought that whole bit was HILARIOUS and AWESOME.

It didn't feel like a finale at all, right? I think that's why they had the Alan Ball "Please watch next season, please?" clip at the end.

I thought the vast majority (what didn't have Crispy Russell, Eric and Pam) lame lame lame. Didn't like the Tara stuff, the Sam stuff, the Lafayette stuff, and REALLY didn't like the Sookie Bill stuff. Hoyt and Jessica were fine, though.

It is so foul and humid and gross here, I can't imagine planting trees and moving rocks. It's all I can do to eat frozen bonbons and lounge about.
