I owe some comments, but we're in the midst of more ice/snow days, and I'm here with three kids that really want to be in school. So does their mama.

Tomorrow is Jersday, and I'm going to try and get the recaps up Fridays or Saturdays, now that I'm getting into a rhythm. I KNOW YOU'RE EXCITED, I KNOW HOW MUCH ALL OF YOU LOVE THE JERSEY SHORE. Lol.

OK, gotta whip up something magical for dinner. Tuna noodle casserole it is! (Hey, I mix in unicorn tears, those are magical.)

Essene made us Turkey Tetrazzini tonight, which I had never had. Turns out it's tuna noodle casserole with turkey instead of tuna. Huh.

I was introduced to that in college, back when I still ate meat, and it was SUPER DELICIOUS! I seem to remember it being a little more gravy like than cream-of-soup like, but that may have been my school cafeteria's take on it.

ALSO, I watched the MTV True Life episode "I'm a Jersey Shore Girl", which I guess is what inspired the series? I know it is from a while back, before the actual series, anyway.

And oh my god, it is so totally different! I mean, the women featured are into hair and clothes and nails and drinking and guys and such, but they have nice friendships! They try to get the guys they date to respect them! They have occasional one-night stands but consider what they want in relationships!

So like, they basically seemed like normal early 20s kids, doing some stupid things and some nice things and flailing around (while sometimes blowing fuses because of so many hair dryers running at once). Just completely different from Jersey Shore, which after watching I feel like there should be hoses to cleanse of all the gross.

2 hour delay, whoo hoo! THEY WILL GO BACK.

I will say that the girls that aren't Sammi have an AWESOME friendship. They are true blue, got your back girlfriends. They just always have to have a Puck, and I totally dated myself with that one. LOL.

But yeah, the Jersey Shore? It's CRAZY. And I want to have an episode where they send in a cleaning crew, and they talk all candid with the cameras. :D
