Need reading material for your holiday week? Or, not a holiday where you are, but need reading material as all of the Americans flake on you this week? I'm here for you.

At Hey, Don't Judge Me:
  • Twilight's Breaking Dawn Recap (and I'm disappointed that I only have a handful of "wow, you're pathetic for not liking this" comments. Oh, the Twidiots will come, eventually. I've got my fingers crossed. [And the LDS Sparkledammerung had its 7 Millionth Hit this weekend. O_O
  • The Walking Dead - and boy, there were a few things last night I didn't see coming. Kristi's got you covered, expect some good discussion in comments this week.
  • Supernatural - Vanessa takes on what I'm guessing was a controversial episode? IDK, SPN fen, it seems like they all are. :D
  • Sam's recap of American Horror Story - I think the general consensus on this show is that it's been a slow - but awesome - build. I plan on mainlining it this week.

(Boardwalk Empire, later this afternoon, tomorrow is Hoarders and RHoBH, and Thursday is Top Chef Texas - it'll be a slow week as a lot of shows are on holiday break/mini-hiatuses.)

Glee Fic Recs I'm not giving up, I know a lot of you aren't in the fandom, but these are all amazing stories REGARDLESS of fandom. I have high-tone fic taste buds.
  • [livejournal.com profile] robotsfighting I linked her amazing Santana struggling in the closet story last week, and here's another one: A Way Of Repeating Itself. Blaine jumps down Finn's throat after 3.06. Deals with outing struggles.
  • [livejournal.com profile] likethdirection (someone I'm not familiar with but will be watching now) wrote a very sweet story about Kurt helping Rory clean up after the dodgeball incident. This will make you love Kurt Hummel even more. Sometimes I Take The Long Way Home.
  • [livejournal.com profile] illyriaz_shell - another new to me writer - wrote a PAINFUL (but so good) story about the year after Kurt leaves. And sees Blaine. JUST KNOW: it's sad. But good. Till The World Ends.
  • Happy-making fic (and porny and lovely) is [livejournal.com profile] cimmerians While We Two Keep Together. Bullet-proof kink, here, young loves playing house. And it's NC-17, so know that. <3 And really, you're not going to go wrong with clicking on anything she writes.
  • & pretty much everything [livejournal.com profile] flaming_muse writes. One, she's outstanding with character and stories that are based on emotions. Two, she's prolific. Three, she's really one of the best writers in the fandom, and her Kurt and Blaine are my Kurt and Blaine. And they happen to be the show's Kurt and Blaine, so that works out, right? :)

I've found that when I go off flist, the recs tend to be of the, um, ff.net variety. Take that as you will. So know that these are road tested and fandom dinosaur approved. Feed your authors, it's how they know to keep producing the quality goods.

The fam is going off for one final camping trip before Thanksgiving lands, so I have three days to bake and write. \o/

TUESDAY!

Nov. 15th, 2011 10:16 am
My crazy day. Um, for those of you that sent me messages last night while Hoarders was on? YEAH. I had a reaction to the angry, abusive mom. Ahem. RECAP FOR HOARDERS. Funny side note, the other story, Judy? They live on the backside of the mountain where my dad grew up and where I lived for a while taking care of my grandma. And yes, the family's Mormon. :D Clues all over the place. (But I think they're Jack Mormons, aka lapsed. I point out the clues in the recap. *g*)

Sally got her Boardwalk Empire recap up yesterday, and they're really excellent, if you're watching the show.

I still have Plyo (next week is my off week, and oh, will my knees be happy) and a Real Housewives recap to write, then hopefully a few hours of my own writing to do, and then once I get hand replacements, it's Glee night! So I need to get the cocktail ready. Write all this down, there will be a test tomorrow, lol.

HEY I AM BORING HI EVERYONE. Pull my finger. Tell me fun stories. Link me to wacky shenanigans. PIC SPAM ME. I love it all.

(...half of my household is gone and I don't know what to do with myself. Aside from enjoying the hell out of it.)
Get it? Because someone has a case of the Mondays. Hurr. I sent Miss Emily off to Science Camp for the week, and it was so cute to see all of the little kids at the school excited and nervous to go on an away trip during the school week. It's also funny to see some of the more spoiled kids who have never "roughed it" in a cabin before, and having matching luggage. LOL. They'll make excellent speed bumps for my family when the zombies rise, thank you for your brave sacrifice, people.

I cranked my workout to 11 today because I noticed that my jeans are fitting loosely, and that's a good feeling. Time to celebrate with a bottle of wine! What do you mean that's counterintuitive? Next week I'm going to do doubles (P90X in the morning and Turbo Fires in the afternoon, just the HIIT workouts every other day) because I want to reach my goal by New Years. Also, the BFF is doing ultra-marathons and I can't say that I'm not curious to give it a try. I mean, I walked 60 miles in 18 hours, I should be able to run 35. *laughs for ever* Well, maybe after I reach my fitness goals. [I can't deny that there hasn't always been a part of me that wants to see how far I can push myself, so. *shrug* ]

Awesome things that happened this weekend:

  • Was told that I was someone's favorite trailer slut. \o/ (and someone mentioned me specifically in a review on imdb, and I got a little choked up, ngl.)
  • Another movie I was in won AFI's audience pick and has this great article in VARIETY, so that's pretty boss
  • the Mr. cured and smoked a ham (that he got with his own hands) and we ate it last night and I almost made love to that joint of meat, oh my goodness.
  • I realized that - not counting recaps for HDJM or edits to Oh My Heck, I've written 62,000 words this November. That's right, in two weeks. Tack on the recaps and we're looking at 75K+. My hands are so buff, you guys.

THE WALKING DEAD. Guys? Guys. Guyth. Theriouth. I'm theriouth. I love that show. Kristi got her recap up after midnight last night, and you should read it, talk about the show (the discussions go on all week, it's really great) and yeah. I LOVE DARYL DIXON.

(Lastly, we'll have Simon Cowell-esque [zomg don't sue us] merch up at our store, and one of our writer's daughters did it, and it's SO DAMN CUTE. Baby artist support FTW!) I need to figure out how to do html on that site so I can organize products. =/
I love Leslie Knope, in case that wasn't clear. Also, sure, jogging is good for you, but at what cost? LOL. It' you're not watching Parks and Rec, then you are seriously missing out. It's not The Office-lite. At all. (The Office is kinda...meh.)

It's still hunting season, so the Mr. and 2/3 of my chirrens are gone most weekends, #2 is now heavily involved with volunteering in the community (which is lovely) so she's gone this weekend, which leaves me and Sally Derg. Wait. Even Sally Derg is going away - to the deer lease. Hmm, I shall use this as a chance to dance naked and plot my eventual take over of the world catch up on laundry, reading, and writing.

Also, remind me to not post introspective/navel gazing shit on my LJ anymore, would ya? Apparently it's really gross and irritating to a lot of people. =/ Then I feel like I'm walking around with the internet equivalent of TP on my shoe. I am the girl that WANTS YOU TO POINT OUT WHEN I HAVE SPINACH IN MY TEETH. Please. :)

IDK about any of you, but I still feel drained from over-squee. You know what would help? Taking a drink from a Hey Don't Judge Me mug. Just how I roll, yo. :D

How is it already noon?! CRAP. I feel like I'm running behind on everything today.
This is a man. He is a fabulous, androgynous male model. And he is more beautiful than Natassja Kinski in her famous Richard Avedon (my all time favorite photographer) photo shoot.

I mean, damn.

...and I'm going to recap the Breaking Dawn movies. My daughter convinced me. I guess that means I'll have to see #3? BAH. I'm going to break my rule of only recapping things I love. BUT I LOVE TO MOCK TWILIGHT, so I can't help it. Also, my soul needs closure. [insert image of Ariel with her hands pleading/clenched in agony]

The kids and The Mr. are going camping at the deer lease this weekend (while The Mr. and The Boy clear out the feral pigs) so I have the house to myself to write, write write. YAY. Oooh, and to fill up my new Kindle with all my fave fanfics. \o/

IT'S FRIDAY!!
Boardwalk Empire's recap is up!

And the RHoBH Recap, too! Dude, I kept saying, "Opulence: I has it."

Here's an excerpt about someone's face lift procedure:

In the surgery, Paul is all business telling some yahoo to shut up with the whistling. Then he accidentally squirts fat on someone. Everyone comments on how the anesthesiologist looks like Mark Walhberg, so Paul calls up Markie Mark, because they’re BFF, and says this guy is claiming he’s better looking and can kick Mark Walhberg’s ass.

Markie Mark shows up and pins the anesthesiologist to the floor, punching him in the head, rapping, “Feel the vibration! Come on, come on, feel it, feel it!" The guy throws his hands up and begs off. Markie spits in his face and says, “I created Entourage, bitch!”

Paul asks for a scalpel and continues with the procedure.

Damn, just imagine if he had the funky bunch in there.
WALKING DEAD RECAP. (I've still not watched the episode, so NO SPOILERS, PLS. Throw your discussion over at Kristi and make a new writer happy, would ya?

PROJECT RUNWAY RECAP - she was our pinch hitter, so she has been juggling loads of RL with recaps, but the season is wrapping up!

SUPERNATURAL RECAP, and holy crap, does the fandom love our recapper. Which pleases me greatly, because I've known Vanessa for a long time - she's awesome.

Boardwalk Empire and the Jersey Housewives finale to come later this afternoon.

Currently I have immersed myself in what is going to be a 50,000+ Klaine AU. Where Blaine is a fireman. I don't even know who I am anymore. (And non-stop parent/teacher conferences today. Just tell me if there's a problem, I already know my kids are awesome. Unless they're living double lives, their grades speak for themselves, ugh. I fully admit to being the laziest, worst parent ever. Your point is? *g*)

OH YEAH AND HOARDERS COMES BACK TONIGHT. So get ready to talk with me tomorrow about it. I said get ready.
Jersey Shore - season finale was last night, arrivederci, Italia.
Vampire Diaries, ep 6
Top Chef: Just Desserts ep 9
American Horror Story, ep 3
X-Factor: Judges Homes, part 3
Ringer ep 6

Later this weekend, Project Runway and Supernatural.

Monday: Hoarders comes back.

Have a great weekend, everyone.
I didn't ask, and I didn't tell. Wait, that's not the right one, I did more by 9am than most people do all day. And now I'm ready for my nap.

CAN WE TALK ZOMBIES MORE, GUYS?! Because I watched every minute of the marathon yesterday, the premiere last night, and then read THIS AWESOME RECAP/DISCUSSION POST this morning, and I want you to, too, and then let's talk there, because that girl needs some boosting, for she is new to the whole writing/internet game. (Let's support fellow writers, yeah?)

Then I had to come off my high by listening to the Real Housewives of Jersey squabble, and it's official. I'm done after this season. I stuck it out, but life is too short, and I'm just over all of them. There's no joy in Mudville. I'll see it through, and then nada.

I started the laborious task of cleaning out my garden for the winter, and man, there was a lot of stuff that didn't die in our record-breaking summer of heat and drought. And it's called Bermuda grass. (Weeds, too.) I let everything go fallow this summer, because I didn't fancy dying of heat stroke, and I am paying for it now by having a lot of weeding to do. I filled a 50 gallon barrel with weeds. And I literally only moved 5 feet. For new folks: I have about 1/3 of an acre of garden space.

My hands are aching. I just can't bring myself to hire gardeners, though. They just don't know how to do it my way, zomg.

This is the lamest post ever, sorry. EXCEPT GO TO THE ZOMBIE LINK AND TALK!!! (I need a brownie today, I think. And I still have my workout to fit in. *cries*)
Zombies and the fight of said creatures will commence this evening on my teevee screen. THE WALKING DEAD comes back tonight! I am almost bouncing, I'm so excited.

Our newest recapper, Kristi, is taking on the job, and she reviewed the webisodes that aired all last week (detailing Bike Girl's origin, very cool.) If you missed the webisodes, don't fear, she'll catch you all up. And she'll have everything up for you first thing Monday morning so we can get our zombie-talk on (and she's as zombie/horror obsessed as me, and maybe even more so. Her Halloween parties are legend.)

IN THE MEANTIME, COME TAKE MY APOCALYPSE QUIZ. Do you have what it takes to survive the end of civilization?

Also on the site is the latest Supernatural recap, and as loads of fangirls are getting back from WinCon today, I hope y'all had a blast.

Tonight is also the Reunion Special for the Housewives of Jersey, and while I'm excited for the crazy, I'm also SUPER excited to get a break from them.

And now I channel this excited energy into weed pulling. *cough* and I scored a 43 on the quiz. Out of 46. No propane tanks and generators, I'm afraid. Not yet. My goal is to be Reba McEntire in Tremors, basically.

[ETA] SEASON 1 IS AIRING TODAY STARTING AT 2:30EST/1:30CST ON AMC TODAY!!
[Your piece of pork, your wife's best friend, your Percy, or your c*ck. You can wrap it up in ribbons, you can slip it in your sock.] I cannot get Monty Python out of my head this morning, so I thought I'd share the fun. Yesterday it was the Philosopher's Drinking Song.

Speaking of euphemisms, I used a few in the recap for last night's Jersey Shore. I swear, that show has become an AU of itself. I like Sammi, there is no fighting with Ron, Jenni and Sam are BFF now, and Vinny and Pauly finally go all the way and share it with the world. GOOD FOR THOSE BOYS.

And this is the last week of our writers with traveling schedules, etc., so there should be no further hiccups with the recaps not getting up within 24 hours of airtime. WHEW! I know they were all stressed about that, so I'm glad things are settling back down. Which means the following recaps await you:
American Horror Story
The Vampire Diaries
Top Chef: Just Desserts
X-Factor: The Judges HOMES

Today is a recap for THE WALKING DEADS WEBISODES. (I'll update here with the link, gimmie until 11am CST for final editing.) Then Monday morning, our newest writer will crack you up. (Her husband makes amazing special effects for horror movies, too. FUN.) If there is a show I have been looking forward to, it is The Walking Dead. LOVE IT. (The SouthLAnd in January!!)

SUNDAY ON HDJM: a zombie apocalypse survival test! Test your know how! (And can you beat my survival score? Lol.)
Whoops. I meant to have a business meeting, and it turned into a bottle of wine and talking late into the night (on a school night, no less! Tres scandale!) so I am duh-rag-ging today.

Please tell me y'all are watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Holy crap, that show is outstandingly awesome. The recap for last night is up, and here's a taste:

Taylor was going to have a “game night” with the gals, but she's just so stressed and her Life Voice Coach feels that she needs to focus on being centered with the Now, and games would symbolize Untruthfulness to her Inner Be and Peace Center.

So she foists the job onto Dana, who is more than happy to take it on, because she's, like, a professional party planner? Even though she's super busy right now, she'll totally do this and make it awesome. She's like, gonna make people play dominoes with actual bars of platinum filled with real ebony, and they'll be something like a trillion million dollars each, so...
[hair flip]

I. Love. It.

Also up, Vampire Diaries (our recapper was called away on business, and until everyone starts buying swag and advertisers start showering us with money, Actual Paying Jobs come first, mores the pity) and Boardwalk Empire, which I failed to mention last night, because see: bottle of wine.

And just a personal request from me, if you do read the girls' posts, hit the +1 or Like buttons (or tumblr, leave a comment, etc) because I can see that they get a lot of readers, but when they don't get comments or feedback, well, you know how that feels. They put in a LOT of work, a lot of hours, all with the hope of talking shop with fellow fans. Hearing "good job!" from me is like when your mom tells you you're beautiful, you know? It's nice, but... :)

ION, my friend (who I visited with last night) is an amazing artist and is going to make a cast of my head this week and hand craft a foam hair piece to my Blink Angel costume so it will look better than the wig I fashioned a few years ago. I LOVE HALLOWEEN, OH MY GOODNESS.
Today was Plyometrics, and while I was proud that Mr. Stoney was able to keep up kind of (he's not done anything but rudimentary jogging or swimming in over a year) I was unhappy with how freaking out of breath I was. Man, my butt better end up so tight you could bounce quarters off it. What I'm saying is that I'm in this chair and I don't see myself getting out of it for several hours.

Send tequila.

Speaking of booze, I had a FABULOUS bottle of wine last night, Markham Cab Sav, 2008. Absolutely delicious, highly recommend.

Speaking of booze 2, I'm almost done with the cocktail book, I'm waiting on art work and I need proper editing, I think. If anyone wanted to volunteer to do some book editing (it's very simplistic) I will repay you with swag or whatever floats your boat?

Speaking of not booze, but kind of in a way, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Good lord, that woman was an idiot about her $25,000 sunglasses. First, that's a stupid purchase. THAT IS STUPID. I don't care how rich you are, they're eye shields. Also, she was tacky and gauche. And then I have a sneaking suspicion that Kim tortures her housekeeper to relive her glory years as a mother when the cameras are off. Just a hunch. Come read and talk with me!

Also, Boardwalk Empire, The Vampire Diaries and Breaking Bad are posted and waiting for you. Show those gals some love and social networking, won't you?

AND TONIGHT IS GLEE, OMG, THIS SHOW THIS YEAR!! Guys, if you've stopped watching, or never watched, now is the time. NOW IS THE TIME. <-- maybe the sweetest, most hopeful video ever.

links!

Seriously, how are you all not watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? it is OUTSTANDING. Creepy orange-painted Truman Capote-wanna bes at parties, Drunkface Ramblemouth, Lady Sitters... It's everything I could have dreamed of. RHoBH recap is here.

Also, Boardwalk Empire went up last night and Ringer goes up later today, and Ep 3 airs tonight, so that will be up tomorrow. Recaps are a great way to catch up to the current episode!

The Glee Episode that will Rock The Fandom is tonight, there are spoilers everywhere, and I am NOT INTERESTED in spoilers. I'm avoiding Twitter, various comms, and Tumblr like the plague because newer fans take the Honey Badger approach to spoiler warnings: they don't give a shit. Ii like going in FRESH, I don't want to know. More power to those of you who love spoilers, but keep them away from me, please.

Note, I'm going to add "Invisio Text" to HDJM for things like SPN, Glee, etc. where people might want to talk about spoilers with others, but not ruin the experience for others. I'm not cool with people getting spoiled there, so you know. But I want discussions, so that seems like a good compromise. Y/N?

OH, POLL UNDER THE CUT re: ebook formats.

Poll: Which format do you use? )
[Add bonus points if you get the reference.] I slept in today. I never sleep in. I really should do that more often. Sure, the kids are probably wearing bathing suits and parkas and toted a jar of peanut butter and a cold steak to school, but sleep!

I caught up on my Daily Show viewing last night and can we all just take a moment to realize that the best newsman we have on air right now is Jon Stewart? He caught that governor being disingenuous and called him on it, and kept calling him on it until the man got his point. No one else is doing this. And this leads me to my new wish for the political landscape:

All politicians need some form of mild autism or Aspergers. Lemme esplain: As folks with ASD don't typically have internal social cues, there will be no more politicking, no more ass kissing, no more tweaking things to sound just so. They will tell it like they see it and want logic. Also, the day will end on time because there will be XBoxes to play. IT COULD WORK. Well, the mother of an AS child can dream...

HDJM bidness:
New shows now on the website include the new Sarah Michelle Gellar thriller, Ringer (verdict: our recapper loved it) Supernatural (verdict: you all love the recaps, holy crap, did we get some traffic!) the X-Factor (verdict, Simon Cowell + Paula Abdul was missed) COMING LATER TODAY: Boardwalk Empire. GUYS. That show... you need to be watching, I'm just saying.

Updates: Vampire Diaries, Spartacus Blood and Sand, Project Runway, and Jersey Shore. Breaking Bad will be late today as our recapper is being attacked by manatees and porpoises (family vacation)

Also, I bought a mess of shirts to pass out from our T-Shirt Shop and they're fantastic quality. I'm just saying, you might think about buying one. (And don't tell me you have already, because you haven't. *G*) The guy that does my art work has been in Vegas for the past week, so I'm thinking he's ready to get back to work and get paid, which means new stuff coming soon, not just our banner.

HEY GUYS LETS GO GET TACOS FOR LUNCH, COME ON, MY TREAT. ETA Oh I forgot to mention that because I lost ALL OF MY MUSIC ALL OF IT OH MY GOD I spent most of yesterday looking up/re-ripping songs and am up to 134 songs back! Of >3000. *all the crying ever* I may make some requests for mp3s if I can't find things. D:

X-Factor!

Sep. 22nd, 2011 04:05 pm
Melody (of Breaking Bad recap fame) is now recapping the X-Factor for Hey, Don't Judge Me. First show is up! Show her some love and support freelance writers!

Also, those who watch Glee and were wondering about that one plot element involving Kurt Hummel and politics, THIS EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. Lovely gen fic by [livejournal.com profile] flaming_muse (I have a massive recs list coming at some point in the next few days.)

I had brisket tacos and margaritas for lunch today and everything feel fiiiiiiiiine. <3 Awesome TV tonight, Jersey Shore recaps in the morning, LIFE IS LOVELY, FOLKS. Ha ha.

  1. We've added BBC's SHERLOCK to the website. They're hilarious and awesome, as you'd expect. (Great work by one of our writers, she's solid.)

  2. We've added Top Chef: Just Desserts to the website. They're also hilarious and awesome and naughty, as you'd expect. (Cream jokes? COME ON.)

  3. JERSEY SHORE. Mike got a beat down, and if there's a person that should be hit, it's him.

  4. Fright Night, 2011! It's by Sam, of "Captain America" fame, so you should know you're going to enjoy that.

  5. Gwyneth Paltrow on Glee! Oh, the cocktail I've concocted! It's a mod from her website, the most pretentious thing ever, and that's coming from Martha Stewart. (It is tasty, though.)

  6. This has nothing to do with anything prior, but good lord do I love these products from Origins I'm using! "Start Over" face cream and "Plantronics" toner. I have no more crows feet. LIKE, I HAVE USED ALL PRODUCTS EVER. (But I can't reasonably use La Mer - I'm too skin-flinty for $400 face cream, $350 toner, $375 eye cream, etc.) This origins stuff (and the Gin-zing eye cream) are AMAZE BALLS.

I am so hungry I need to eat all the things and then polish off some English toffee/sea salt caramel ice cream that i have. (IT TOO IS REDONK.)
The Mr. was gone most of last week and all of the weekend on a golfing trip, and his flight was delayed last night by a few hours. Enough for him to slip into Dreamland in Birmingham, grab some ribs, and carry them home on the plane for me. Awww. Also, OM NOM NOM, best ribs in the world, hands down.

I'm way behind on everything I meant to do today, from staying up way too late last night. Ugh, I hate sleeping in to the point of missing a large portion of the morning, I'm a "get it done early" type of person. I'm in the middle of canning (round two, there will be a round three in a few weeks) and for those of you that put up food, you know how it can be. I have 12 quarts of tomato sauce done, and another 6 qts. to go, did 6 qts. of strawberry preserves on Friday, and I think I'm done with them. That's enough, my lands. Because peaches are coming in. *head desk* But it's nice to have that stuff in the fall and winter, right?

RIGHT?? *cries* I started making an "Apocalypse Survival" checklist Friday night, after a conversation with [livejournal.com profile] kita0610 in her LJ. I don't mean to brag (hahaha) but I'm totally ready to make it. I just need to dig a series of underground caves, and my progeny will live until the zombies have all died out/been blown apart. And remember: robot wars/rise of the machines is the simplest Armageddon's to fight: MAGNETS. That's all you need to know.

Oh, and because my girls rock, [livejournal.com profile] crazydiamondsue has last night's AWESOME True Blood recap up and ready, and [livejournal.com profile] elizardbits has her latest amazingly funny Spartacus recap up (blood and sand) and I've just posted the recap for the Jersey housewives. Oh my god, the food those people make! I wanna go for a holiday at the Manzos.

So get clicking over there, hit the "Like" buttons and the Google+ buttons and leave comments and be your typical fabulous selves. :)

OK, son is off to the oral surgeon in a bit, I've got to start canning tomatoes, and I would really like a personal assistant, thanks. GAH, TOO MUCH.
Because that's what I've been eating almost all weekend. Mmmm, avocados. Fresh tomatoes, garlic from the garden... And I made some baked taquitos that are so good, oh man. We were celebrating the Mr's promotion this weekend by being lazy slugs and eating. <-- THE AMERICAN DREAM.

[livejournal.com profile] crazydiamondsue had some problems last night (nothing to worry about, just time consuming, etc.) that is going to keep her from putting up her True Blood recap until this evening. But trust me when I say you're going to want to read it, if only for her take on the ridiculous Hot Shot happenings. Not to mention Vienna Sausage appe-teasers.

BUT! Fear not, those of you with the Mondays. [livejournal.com profile] elizardbits is back with Spartacus! Read the Blood & Sand recap here.

And the Real Housewives of New Jersey recap is now online, here you are. (Oh my god, the sparkle suit on that gorilla.) Kim G returns. She is SO AWFUL. I love watching her awfulness, I won't lie.

Tonight is Hoarders, and I've already begun my home cleanse in preparation.

For those that might want to try my baked taquitos, the recipe is under the cut. This way to OmNomVille. )

I still have some leftovers, so instead of teaching the kids how to cook tonight, we're going to make cookies. Tomorrow we're making Indian food, because I want some palak paneer (paneer is fun to make) and some naan and dal. YUM.

It is a million degrees out, so I'm waiting for it to be a reasonable hour for me to have a margarita and float in the pool with it. I say 4 is a good time. Right? Hmm. (Hahaha, I sound like a lush.)

Speaking of being a lush, those of you that have been following my Glee recaps have gotten some pretty boss cocktail recipes. I made the Friday cocktail (The Dirty Hippie) a few times this weekend. Tie dyed cocktails that taste good? OK. I changed up the way you can search on the main page - the shows/movies/books are clearly listed at the top with hyperlinks. Hopefully that looks far less cluttered.
